I started to notice what felt like a pattern – the team looked like it was finally about to turn a corner and then bam a series of games against eastern conference teams would immediately follow and we’d be back to looking like a team of guys who just picked up a basketball for the first time yesterday and still didn’t know each other’s names. I went to check out my hunch and sure enough.
These splits are bizarre and frankly not what I’d expect but honestly, they make me feel a lot better lol particularly when beat our (likely) biggest competition in the East in convincing fashion. We’re gonna be okay y’all!

I think the road/home disparity is more telling. Just happens that we’ve also had more road guests than home games against Eastern teams.
However I do think you are on to something. Out of 15 teams in the West only 6 have winning records against the Eastern teams. East had gotten a lot better since 2019.
