No disrespect but this guy doesn’t know what he talking ab , James got traded he didn’t wanna leave .. 2 okc could turn into a finals team next year if they wanted to , they just need to cash in on everything . We only been rebuilding for 2 years
Lmao so YouTube just allows everyone to give their two cents with zero knowledge of the facts? KD is from Washington, a big city but was fine playing in OKC cuz they had a good team, well till Harden left us and left a void! Harden is from Cali and was fine staying but a $5m difference in contract talks forced him to leave. Russ is from Cali and was very happy playing in OKC….he only left cuz we traded him to rebuild. Chet is from MN which isn't a fun state per se so if he grew up there then why not in OKC, he even said before the draft thay he preferred OKC and Giddey praised the city when he was drafted cuz its a lowkey city like some Australian small cities. Shai is from Toronto but said he loves his life in OKC, maybe being a team leader is also a motivation. What big team will take him and hand him the reigns to their team? LA? GSW? Milwaukee? He is the leader here and that means a lot to players!
Why the fuck would you get rid of Dort just for his age? Bruh Dort is basically OKC's very own marcus smart who's just better offensively, more bigger physically and is way more athletic than him.
Dort will just give you 18-20 pts a night constantly but he will always give his best night in & out playing hardcore lockdown defense, putting clamps on the opponent's best player and try shutting them down Dort will give you that consistently everyday.
Plus Dort is just having a slump offensively but once he's back to his usual self again then you add in his two-way abilities or defensive prowess you'll see the value in him he's also in a favorable friendly contract for years
