Road Woes Continue for the Golden State Warriors with Klay Thompson Struggling to Recapture his Form

Kylen Mills joins Cyrus Saatsaz live following the Golden State Warriors fallling to 1-4 on the team’s recent six game road trip following a blowout loss to the New York Knicks that saw virtually no bright sides and raised a lot of questions regarding Klay Thompson’s lack of efficiency and effectiveness.

  1. Kerr is vastly overrated. Remember when Luke Walton seemed like Phil Jackson? It's all about the players and GSW doesn't have them. Klay is not right and may never be. If he's not the same physically he will be terrible mentally because he's always been elite. Not good.

And don't get me started about size. They're midgets out there. Unless they get some size other teams will do what the Knicks did tonight.

  2. Myers is a great guy. The Wiggins trade was outstanding but he is not an eye for 20 yr old talent. Moody Wise projects. JK has a shot at being an 18 7 guy. But Lamb Ty pick ups awful. The Knicks were like so much bigger so much stronger faster – we looked like a J V team out there. W Vinnie and Steph and Wiggs back the team has as a shot but Warriors are woefully undersized and the bench is maybe 8 deep. I am now for trading for Turner of Indy. Wise is 3 years away, Moody will likely be a solid 7th guy off the bench 14 6 numbers. All in all, Ws have a bad bench, their young Big 3 are at best under developed and need lots of training, JK a lot less so but he too is not finely tuned like many other rookies today seem to be. Klay will go to the bench next year. Why is he so despondent? I imagine his legs are not as strong as it needs to be but he should not get so down so quickly. For all it's flaws, we get one nice big who can bang shoot a little, we'll be Ok.

  3. Klay can not play with Poole, he get the ball and don't pass it, I don't like Poole game, he don't defense rebound, please let steph come bach,

  4. Klay just looks flat. I really think he comes off bench. Second Unit. Poole is only bright spot. Klay, Div, Kumminga Dre, Moody second team rest of year.
Send Wiseman to G for 10 more games.
But many pases to him sucked. He has to come to ball better secure.

  5. What's sad is the Warriors could have traded the number two pick for maybe 2 or 3 picks later in that 2020 draft and got at least two players that would have been more ready than Wiseman was.

  6. It's pretty obvious Joe needs to fire Kerr. For a coach to keep trying to show up their boss this never ends well. Kerr is an awful defensive coach. He can't develop the young lottery picks. His rotations have been atrocious. The treatment of Green punching Poole and now Klay just not being held accountable for his terrible play is all on Kerr. I think the Warriors move on from Kerr, Gree,, and Klay.

  7. Klay is stepping out of bounds every game. If he doesn't play good, without Steph, it will be hard to win games. I think Kerr has done a terrible job with the confidence of the youngster in the attempt to keep the starters confidence high, he should stanger the lineups. The youngsters need to develop with championship play, not putting in 5 under 21 year olds and then roasting them in the press conference after. The truth is in winning the championship, the whole team didn't come out with the urgency and that starts with the vets, not under 21years old trying to find an identity and learning a complex warriors offense. Look at Kelly Oubre. Coaching is all about installing confidence so players can execute at a high level. I remember when Kerr was first coaching Steph and he would get so upset when he would shoot a bomb, not showing confidence in him on national TV, same with Poole in year 2. This new age basketball, you need to have faith in players (Keminga IQ, Wisemans offensive bag) and let them develop with Curry and Green too. Then they will build confedence too. One at a time, not all of them at once. STOP BLAMING the players on the bench 9-15 because those players don't win you chanpionship (no offense Ian Clack and Patrik Maaaaaaccaaaaawwww

  8. When we say the punch from Draymond didn't effect the the all you have to do is look at the atrocious play of Wisemen on the defensive end of the floor and say to yourself in years past Draymond would have been all over him for looking ridiculous not even grabbing rebounds…. After the punch …. Nothing so this team needs to come together because they are playing like a team that knows it's over

  9. Athletic Alchemy just said it. They’re not holding Wiseman back. To think that is to disbelieve your own eyes. What Kerr is doing is an act of mercy for the boy. Time you start understanding that Cyrus. Have some respect for our championship coach. It’s getting exhausting listening to your ignorance

  10. Coach Kerr playing the wrong people together who are not in sync with each other! He acts like he does not know what to do if Steph is not on the floor telling him what to do!

  11. Klay has always been a bad passer. Klay zones out on def when he’s not guarding the best guy. Dramon checks out of games/ quits

  12. All the fools trashing Wiseman. Like I wrote in my comment its not Wiseman its Kerr. Against the Nets Wtseman with 32 points and like 11 rebounds and a couple off blocks. Kerr is a Idiot and Mike Brown is exposing Kerr. Look what he is doing in Sac. I put my comment in yesterday and just like today Kerr is the problem. How could a guy who has been on the bench and "D" league be the blame for this complete mess Kerr has created and does not seem to have an answer for without Mike Brown.

  13. Not great energy shown from klay but it's understandable, he's use to being and amazing all star level player. The frustration within himself is warranted. But I have full faith klay will work his way out it. But I don't think kerr thinks he can do that from the bench
