Eh. They’re missing 4 players that are critical to their success and they were in the game most of the way. This isn’t as bad as people make it seem and NO they should not fire Finch

  2. irishace88

Fuck injuries man. Missing 4+ rotation players every game fucking sucks. Losing because we have to watch end of the bench players play big minutes or start is beyond frustrating.

Please get fucking healthy soon so we can stop pissing away winnable games.

Edit: We’ve had our full rotation available for 11 games this season and are 6-5. We’re also 10-8 with TP this season.

  3. markellefultz4mvp

nowell should not be allowed to take 17 shots in a game

  4. WillingCommittee

Jaylen needs to learn that passing the ball is actually an option in the game of basketball.

  5. FreshStartWolves

Maybe Connelly will go Rosas on it and bring in a whole new team at the deadline

  6. cayuts21

They just quit down the stretch. It’s the Celtics so whatever but no moral victories today

  7. starfruit213

Nowell and Forbes should not get any minutes the rest of the year. Give Moore their minutes.
Against decent or better teams, Finch’s flaws really shine through.

  8. Wolves fans went from blaming it all on KAT to now blaming it all on Rudy.

  9. Gyroflex

Down 1 with 9 mins left and then we completely collapsed

  10. chillywillyG

8/29 from the field and 1/12 from 3 for Nowell the past two games…. Obviously the L’s aren’t on him but dude needs to know when ball movement is the correct decision

  11. Can one of the Gobert haters (or multiple ones) explain to me what he did so terribly this game? Cause I truly did not see the disastrous performance y’all saw. But it must have been there cause everyone was yelling about it.

  12. ProfessorSimp

Keep telling people nowell is not it. He doesn’t do what we need and has the mentality that he can shoot whenever he wants

  13. kieran1017

When we get bogged down in iso ball we just can’t do anything. Also for the 2nd year in a row we literally cannot rebound.

  14. JamesDHoward22

Really could’ve used Prince, Anderson, Jordan. I feel like we’re just getting super gassed at some point. Also having to play Forbes and Nowell so much is killing us. Bad.

  15. Connelly and the whole Wolves organization completely misevaulated the Gobert trade:

    We still stink at rebounding

    He ruins the offense

he’s not even close to a top 20 player

  16. Kervdog666

Finch has to go. His rotations are terrible and the team consistently loses it in pivotal moments of the game. See memphis series last year.

  17. Gyroflex

    I really don’t like nowell getting 17 shots in 22 minutes…

  18. Bad 4th quarter. The team misses the 4 players out right now for the offense. All there is to say about this game.

  19. GrumpyBlondie

In the future if we’re gonna get a T for arguing with the refs. Can we please at least be right? Wtf was finch doing

  20. DiabolicalToast

I was pretty impressed with the way we played the first three quarters. Everything went downhill after that Naz turnover followed by the offensive foul. I wish we could have kept it closer in the 4th, but it’s tough to beat a championship caliber team on the road.

  21. This game did it for me on playing Nowell. He can’t see minutes once jmac is back.

  22. beermangetspaid

Rudy isn’t gonna work here. It’s obvious as day. He makes Ant worse

  23. cowboy2223

Nazz had a really bad final stretch there in the 4th . Dlo disappeared . A cold nowell gave himself the green light . McDaniels was good edwards was overloaded with too much on his shoulders . Gobert was ignored for to much then they try to force it to him.

  24. WeakLocalization

Naz had a rough stretch in the 4th sadly, but the game would have been a blowout long ago if he hadn’t played so well in the 1st half. This teams looks lost with Gobert in the game, still…

  25. PlayInChampions

I watched plenty of Utah games but never saw Gobert being used only on the dunker spot while Spida or Conley play heavy iso. It worked for some time while we were making tough shots and Celtics were missing open threes (they shot 3/23 in 1st and 3rd q combined), but was not sustainable. We barely create open threes, just look at how Dallas and Boston did it against us. Forbes is useless there when you dont run any plays and rely on iso every possession. I dont want to defend Gobert because he is not playing particularly well, but come on, offensively we just don’t utilise him at all.

  26. Glock26s

Don’t hang your head, Celtics are a top team and we stuck in it for 3.25 QTRs, Dlo went cold second half, ant couldn’t do it by himself. Naz played decent but that stretch he had playing horrible along with nowell killed us. Rudy needs to stop getting in the paint and calling for the ball every possession and allow ant to size his man up and do as he pleases. Our offense is clearly better without Gobert, but defense our guards must do better and stop letting people blow past them, cuz rudy has to help at the rim leaving the corner wide open, he can’t do both. We were missing kat big time today, and jmac. Kat might be able to be a better shot blocker than naz while being quicker than gobert, that might be the solution to that. Noneless great game by ant, nothing to hold your head done on.

  27. Sam7sung

The offense was atrocious. We can’t play my turn, your turn and expect to win. Gobert had good seals and deserved to get some passes in the paint

And our rebounding is an underrated disappointment this season

  28. OrangeSpartan

Do you think Boston would accept Gobert and 5 picks for Al horford? Seems like a trade Tim might be interested in

  29. homiefranko

Celtics shot 28% from three on 46 attempts. I know they are the Celtics but as an NBA team you need to capitalize. We didn’t, that lost us the game.

  30. BlingBlongBoy

1 Free Throw for Ant is fucking malpractice

  31. AbyssalBlade18

Nowell taking it to heart when Ant said he is the team’s best scorer

  32. OGFN_Jack

Eh, I mean we’re down arguably our best player and our 6th, 7th, and 8th man against the 1 seed in the east at home and we were very much in the game till the middle of the fourth. I know it’s hard to take moral victories when we want to see real wins but we generally played very well this game for the situation we had.

  33. JustWinBabys

Hard to believe Ant could play so many minutes and get one free throw.
