LaMelo Ball’s Hornets are one of the worst teams in the NBA this year. They have had injuries but there are much deeper problems within the organization. This is a look at what this means for LaMelo and how he got in this mess.

All the BBBs boys are busts. All trash can't play defense and have horrible fundamentals.
FYI Jordan was drafted to a sorry team guess what he made the team better and won. Many great players were drafted to a sorry team but they made it great. Players also have to step up and put the extra work in to make it.
Saying that one of my favorite teams are bad that got me to unsub (you can like any team you want just don't show any heat to other team.)
his takes are a reach
Actually Cp3 had a good career in N.O
But you forgot that Rondo won a ring with the Lakers. He wasn't drafted with the Lakers. Chris Paul has had the opportunity to move teams multiple times. Why didn't he join a contender?
Just keep Ball and Oubre. Get rid of the others. Rozier still good enough to just be a third stringer. He’s good but not superstar great like Harden.
You know what is funny, they still all make money. Isn't that the real championship? Ball is there to get his bag, let him. You get to play on the biggest stage and still show out. I think he can live with that. Given the opportunity sure they would love to dominate. Will his team work for that? Not sure. People afraid of Jordan, well they don't deserve to win then do they?
Melo is next John wall.
Your lost too.
I'd take rondo any day over chris paul.
He couldn't carry rondo jock
I sign lemelo ball to a contract for 4 yrs 135 million dollars
If I was lamelo I’d be pick Jordan’s brain all the time
I hope lamelo stays with the hornets they should build a team around him. come on MJ put your ego aside for once
Holds the phone my guy Chris is not better then rondo maybe now but not that young rondo that went back in after the nastiest arm injury I've ever seen sorry give me young rondo
27 still isn’t your prime
Mark my words “melo will be the first player too turn down the max”
To be fair most teams I feel just don’t hit on h to e draft all the time . For example the kings you look back and think damn they suck at drafting but certain picks make sense same here . Kings took jimmer and hornets took Kemba over Leonard . It seemed like the right picks at the time . Kemba coming off great performance in the tourney and jimmer shooting was insane. Most their draft picks we’re honestly just bad luck . No one expected Donovan to pop off same for Lavine . Could they have drafted better yeah but I don’t necessarily think it’s just that they suck at drafting it’s just bad luck as well
Giannis was definitely bad luck. No one knew he would be this good.
interestingly the Hornets are 8-24 today(12/23). the Hornets drafted Kobe, traded him to the Lakers and their record is Kobe's jersey numbers on the day they play each other.
All offense doesn’t work even with 5 allstars. Ask the US Olympic team from a few years ago
MJ focusing on Bubba Wallace and 23 11 lol
MJ is known to be cheap
He need to stop paying for his girls obviously fake ass
I don’t think ex players should handle teams at all cause a real player should be astonished to have records broke by someone they chose the game doesn’t weaken it is supposed to grow
@A.M. You're like a better looking Tyler Herro
Mj didn’t ruin the team. that team was already trash since the 90’s
Don’t be so sure that Melo won’t leave after his rookie contract. If anyone would be the first to do that, it would be him.
I don’t think a team that was “so bad they literally had to move cities” Can entirely blame Michael Jordan for their failures lol. MJ has to put the pieces in place and correct certain things but at the end of the day it’s the players and coaches job to go out there and perform. Draft picks don’t always work out like they should, coaches don’t always make the right decisions. It is an entire organizations job to make sure it runs smoothly from top to bottom and those are the teams that not only win rings but build dynasties. If it was that easy bill russell doesn’t have 11 rings and Tom Brady doesn’t have 7. This is a concept deeper than basketball. yes Michael jordan has definitely had his failures but it’s not Michael jordan that will determine if lamelo ball will have a successful nba career. We don’t look at players like Allen iverson and say he wasn’t successful because he didn’t get a ring and only made the finals once.
All that money and Jordan’s sold but he selfish in investing in his team
Michael kid who? 😂😂😂
You can't be good at everything… MJ should sell me the team for $1 I'll turn them around.
LaMelo has been out but is back and looking good, don't trip, but there are some great points in this video, but also you got a thumbs-down from me because of the negative drama title, LaMelo's success is on LaMelo and no one else, he can always go to another team
Lol and Chris Paul is one of the greatest but definitely has been a dirty ass player lmao so great point on that as well
Nah, pistons are worse
It's crazy that about 70% of all the players he named they could of had or can get came from either Kentucky wildcats or Louisville cards. Kentucky really needs a pro team . I seen where Mayweather wanted to buy a team so why not try to create a new team to the league and make a team here in KY!!. They probably a lot of doubters but the player coming out of college to pro from here is top players in NBA . Not the top but rank up there as the top players
Uhhhh some of these guys are just really flashy players but not well rounded
Didn't Anthony Davis turn down a max to sign with the Lakers?
Imagine they get the first overall pick and pass on Vic and take some dude from unc ! Hahaha !
Jordan was drafted to a horrible team, and created a dynasty.
I think you are wrong about what you say, to be honest. I'd say that the issue is MJ believes something different than you. Yes, he may be incorrect, but if other teams are getting the top players and he is not. So six bad picks makes him bad at it? It's more the other teams are just better. MJ needs to figure out how to pick a more balanced team.
Lamelo to new Orleans, and it’s over. I know this will never happen, but the pelicans are good with draft picks well into the future.
They miss Miles Bridges too!
So MJ does the drafting but not the GM?
The hornets were the pelicans .. and the team was moved because of Hurricane Katrina which destroyed New Orleans . Not because the hornets( pelicans ) were bad.
I think the hornets should tear it down and trade for draft picks, but keeping ball with the hopes of drafting wembanyama. At that point build around ball and wenbanyama.
