– Sean Deveney of Heavy quoted an NBA executive saying that Marcus Smart could be the Celtics 3rd NBA All-Star with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Smart is one of the best defenders in the league, but does he score enough to warrant All-Star consideration?
– Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant told ESPN’s Malika Andrews that the only team in the entire NBA that he’s worried about is the Celtics, and appears to predict a Grizzlies vs. Celtics NBA Finals.
– And the Boston Celtics lost their 3rd straight game, falling to the Indiana Pacers last night at TD Garden, 117-112. Jayson Tatum dropped 41 in the loss. Can Joe Mazulla get this thing back on track as multiple Eastern Conference teams are on Boston’s heels?
