  1. ColdBudLight98

    Worst inbounding team in league

    What a joke

  2. dosnetlive

19 turnovers for the starters alone ended this game long before herro did

  3. mnsportsfan

Yo… I don’t know how much more of this I can do

This shit is why you can NEVER get your hopes up with the wolves. Just consistently making losing basketball plays. It’s just a culture thing at this point.

Thought last year had changed some of that. Rationally, I know it’s just one game in an 82 game season, but the eye test tells you all you need to know

  4. Morezingis

All the joy I had for this team last year is gone. Knowing our team doesn’t mesh with Rudy at all after nearly half a season. Knowing we’re stuck for four years. Knowing we have no future for the next decade if this doesn’t work. Watching the poor teamwork and iso possessions night in and night out.

Fuck Tim Connelly. It’s one thing to come to a new team and make a bad move. It’s another thing to cripple them for ten years with one of the most historically head-scratching trades of all time for a one-dimensional player the same position as your star.

  5. This should be one of the post game threads of all time

  6. quietsam

If you look at this season in a vacuum, it would be difficult to make the argument that this is a well coached team.

  7. DrunkMarkJackson

I don’t know how many other coaches would put McDaniels as the inbound guy. He’s known to panic with the ball and make sloppy passes

  8. chillywillyG

A turnover to end the game kind of sums up that entire game holy shit its been a problem this year but my god were turnovers horrible today

  9. Gyroflex

22 turnovers and some of the worst execution you will ever see in a 4th quarter to lose the game, the timberwolves experience on full display

  10. thiswasmy19thchoice

fitting end to turn the ball over at the end without getting a shot off

  11. 1000Isand1

It feels like a better coached Timberwolves team would have won that game.

  12. starfruit213

Nowell does not deserve more than 10 minutes a game.

Team has too many selfish boneheaded plays

  13. Turbulent_Dot_4972

Might be the most frustrating game I’ve watched all season. People need to be fired and benched!

  14. Glock26s

Not gonna lie, we own the heat but this one hurts. Seeing Jimmy butlers bitch ass smiling even though he acts hurt and ducks every game against us.. just wish we got a shot off there. Naz was wide open. Oh well. Can’t wait for kat to be back

  15. LonesomeWulf

I wasn’t able to watch the game, but checking the box score that is wild to see significantly better 2 point and 3 point percentage and then losing. I checked the turnovers and it was a pretty awful margin :/

  16. Playing against g leaguers and undrafted players. FIRE FINCH

  17. OGFN_Jack

Another game all on Finch. Look at what Spoelstra does with G-league players and how Finch can’t figure out how to use a team with multiple all stars.

  18. nukezwei

This team needs a spark. Whether or not you think Finch is the problem he won’t last long with these kinds of losses.

  19. tall_mf_

Pathetic not even getting a shot off at the end. Naz was *wide* open

  20. M1THRANDlR

The team went ALL IN with their assets for a guy that the coaches trust less than Naz Reid

  21. Gobert being played off the court in crunch time should be absolutely horrifying to the Wolves front office and coaching staff. We mortgaged everything for this guy.

  22. Such-Afternoon-372

Gonna be a brutal last 3 plus months of the season. It’s gonna come down to a game or two. We might have to win a pair of play-ins at this point.

  23. It was nice at the start when Rudy tried to run some drives into his game. But JFC this team is so bad. A zone like the Heat were playing made me miss Beasley ALOT. Nowell is not it, especially when his offence dries up

  24. HackWaters

I hope reporters ask Finch why McDaniels was the inbounder and not Austin Rivers. We didn’t even give ourselves a chance.

  25. Sam7sung

The best player on the team, the guy who makes $40m a year, the guy who was worth 5 first round picks couldn’t close the game and the coach was right in doing so.

Also we’re missing 4 of our top 9 rotation players but allowing that Miami team to score over 100 points while Herro was shooting poorly is awful. What are we doing

  26. chillblaze

How is Naz Reid better than Rudy freaking Gobert?

  27. twinsguy1

A bad loss considering who was on the floor for Miami. Every time I think this team has turned a corner, they have a game like this.

This is probably who this team is without KAT. Missing 3 other rotation guys isn’t helping either. Hopefully they can get healthy cause the ceiling of this current roster feels like .500.

22 turnovers, 13 of which from Ant and D’Lo. Just can’t have that especially from those two. This team needs more consistency from them.

They especially need more from Rudy. He just hasn’t had more than a good game or two all year. He just plain needs to play better, not much else to say.

  28. whiterice_343

It’s just depressing watching this team now vs last year. They looked so happy together last season, however, now they just look like the life is sucked out of them.

  29. ChanJosie

Finch is an offensive genius but we can’t inbound again.

Stiffel tower a non factor, Nowel a black hole again. A lot of the same. Naz Reid I guess.

Tough game to watch against a marginal team.

  30. It’s so weird. This team is terrible to watch and plays like shit, and is somehow more often than not still competing for the win at the end. I dunno that’s all I can cling to at this point.

  31. homiefranko

We finally shot the ball well and it felt like Rudy was non existent tonight. They owned the paint and bullied us on O boards. This was the type of game Rudy should have dominated. This season has been so disappointing so far. If it hasn’t been one thing it’s been the other.

  32. KickerofTale

We have to have the lowest bbiq in the entire NBA.

Can’t pass or rebound to save our lives. It’s like a foreign concept to this team.

  33. mdani1542

This team just is not fun to watch. The Gobert trade has been a massive letdown and is draining the enthusiasm in the fan base. We all miss KAT but with the roster construction they’ve takin away all of us strengths and what made him special all for Rudy Fucking Gobert.

  34. MaruhkTheApe

My line for most of the season has been that he himself isn’t playing badly, it’s just the things that he does don’t address what was actually ailing the team. But now I gotta ask…what IS he good at? What DOES he do well? He can’t catch an entry pass. He has NOTHING in his bag offensively. He can’t do anything except set screens.

Defensively it’s not looking THAT much better. He can’t guard any big that can shoot. (We knew that even before this year – KAT always ate his lunch when we played the Jazz). He’s pure drop coverage and nothing else. And even there, Kessler is getting just as many blocks per game as him on half the minutes.

Is he even still good at the things he was good at? Or did Utah know he’d reached his expiration date?

Fuckin’ rules we gutted a very good bench and napalmed our draft capital for a man who has ZERO, absolutely ZERO game impact.

  35. Vincent1122

I’m glad I’ve finally got to watch Gobert on a game to game basis because he’s one of the most overrated players I’ve ever seen. Jazz had to be Geniuses to apparently put the perfect structure catered around him because he sucks if you don’t have the perfect mix around him.

  36. WeakLocalization

Tough one tonight in a physical game, but with 22 TO you cant really ever expect to win. Heat took 23 more shots!

  37. 1000Isand1

These Wolves are like the polar opposite of the Vikings. Finding way to blow close games even when they have the advantage in overall talent and most of the statistics.
