They should have evan mobley bring the ball up and dominate ball like a lebron james would or a nikola jokic would…i think theyre misusing mobley…because of the lack of rubio and the addition of donovan mitchell…i think the would open up our offense to the next level…bench as well
Cavs must learn to be focused for the entire game and set the tone defensively in the first quarter. Lack of shooting did not cause this loss Danny, did you not see how easily the Nets scored in the first quarter?
Lamar Stevens can't start any more think he can play minutes off the bench but not as a starter. I'd rather go back to vert while dean is back then I think dean starts
JB is still not using this roster correctly. We should be going inside to set up the outside shooting. Allen should be our primary post-player with Mobley being 2nd. We have Mobley who can be our ball handler like Draymond Green in our half-court offense allowing Spidaland to play off the ball and spread out the offense with their jump shooting ability. Also, it's time to stop playing Okoro unless in a defensive possession after a Timeout. Neto gives u ball handling, a willingness to shoot, and good on-ball defense. Stevens is just coming back from injury and just now had practice time with our core four. I believe Mobley is more our 3 than Stevens. Our starting lineup should be Spidaland, Mobley at the 3 Stevens at the 4 with Allen at the 5. Love should finish the game at the PF spot with our core 4. Love has shown he is capable of being impactful on both ends in the frontcourt. Mobley playing the 3 and trusting him to be our half-court ball handling will jumpstart his growth into a full-blown All-Star.
I was at the game last night and I was not feeling it at all once Ben Simmons slung Jarrett Allen down on the ground like that I got really upset😡🤬💯
Getting 2016-2018 Warriors vibes from these Brooklyn Nets.
Down 10 early in the fourth and Okoro gets the ball 4 straight possessions and goes 1 of 4 allowing BK too extend the lead. Jarret Allen attempting 3s! When they are trying to come back, Allen should never attempt a 3, Mobley I get but not Allen. Mitchell’s comments that he was never faced guarded in Utah cause he was surrounded by shooters is not a good look. He is making excuses for poor play in 2 straight games. If only Altman would’ve drafted Bey or Toppin rather than Okoro.
Lamar Stevens went 2-4 from three before we benched him.
They were wide open, but he still hit them…
CEDI was great on DEFENSE but had an off-night shooting,
at least he provided gravity to help DG penetrate.
we dont really have time to develop Okoro's horrible 3 point shot haha , might take 3-5 years or never happen
No name guy off the Nets bench hits for 23 in your house.. there's your issue
im ready for a trade
Not going to survive if you defend the 3 ball this poorly. Raptors shot 51% making 19 threes and the nets shot 60% making 18 threes in these losses. This is the 3 point shooting era so got to do better slowing down other teams from that part of the floor. Going to be swept by top teams if you give up >40% from 3s to them. Maybe this is the price we pay for the undersized back court. Hope past two games horrendous perimeter defense are just outliers and won’t be a trend.
