Ever since Grizzlies hit #1 spot in the west, their game play suddenly deteriorated. I think the pressure of higher expectations being under the spotlight has also gotten into their heads. Part of it is also being more humble. We know they are fully capable and we've seen Grizzlies play great basketball. I think it's lack of experience and mental toughness.
We’re at a point in society where the next generation wants to be different but just about everything ‘different’ has been done. So note they have no logical way to be different…so blatant disrespect and stupid takes are the only place left for them to go. We are witnessing the beginnings of a societal downfall and it’s only gonna get worse
It's 82 games in a season, it's a long season ! Nobody goes undefeated. So you lose one to the Warriors, it's still early. The Grizzlies will be ok come playoff time. Especially if they have home court advantage. All teams talk trash, Draymond Green, Luka and Dallas, LeBron and Lakers, Milwaukee, Philly, and Phoenix ! They all talk, and none of them are undefeated.🏀👍

What are to they supposed to say? "I'm scared of the western conference?" They have a better record to than the sun's and the warriors so who cares.
The problem is also is that a lot of players get high on a three-point line and they're intermediate game and intermediate functions are non-existent and John Moran and Dylan Brooks Jackson all of those dudes and no different they didn't spend enough time shooting shots as young kids to come out and talk Steph Curry Clay Thompson been working on those shots since they were kids therefore they got more time to get better at it
John Moran crab dribbles when you crab dribble you take away from an essential part of getting a shot off but he is in a immense Talent so he gets away with it when he plays against lesser athletes but when he has to win a game you can tell because the last time he played Golden State I believe he threw up and unbalanced off the wrong foot left-handed shot that if he wasn't a crab dribbler you probably could have stopped on a dime and shot it correctly but John Moran like everybody else is a bunch of drill players they do drills all day and they don't work on those essential things that get them better
The other thing is we're in the era of volume players and that is the other LeBron effect where they will take volume over efficiency hence why people want to say LeBron's the greatest but he's a volume player that's a lot of volume things but on the efficiency level it never works these guys aren't efficiency players like those guys back in the eighties and the 90s where at your position you actually had to produce a certain way to run your mouth Draymond Green is lucky to be on that team with Steph and clay because all I can see when it comes to him and I know this isn't about him but it's about his type of player I see no difference between John Moran and Draymond Green when it comes to their attitude one wins championships with Elite efficient players and his role is minimized by a lot but his role is needed and the other is another player that talks more than they can produce

Ja's got problems and the Grizzlies org might want to intervene. He needs counseling on how to handle interviews. Re: the West— he could have said there are lots of great teams in the west, that's why the standings are so tight. But the real competition is the Celtics in the east. In other words, infer that your team will be the one to take on the Celtics, without disrespecting (and incentivizing every western team to kick your team's ass) anyone.
Before this, he commented "kneepads" to the very mild suggestion from Charles Barkley that the next step in his evolution needs to be getting his team members involved. Within the next week or so the Grizzlies had a game on TNT, but the alternate game was featured. Ja agreed with a comment wishing they had covered the Grizzlies. Connection? Maybe, maybe not. But at the end of the day TNT is going to back Chuckie two-notes, not an up and comer who talks like he's already scaled the mountain.
I wish he'd take more of a lead from Adams, one of the most humble guys in the league.
