I watched that last stretch from Zion, it felt like he was facing the entire Wolvs team by himself. He would do incredible moves, score no matter what the other team through at him, and when the Wolvs would take the lead back there he was again. Don’t forget the Pels we’re down for most of this game, Zion kept em in. Also of coarse that steal and dunk was legendary.
Goes to show what a good, unselfish team can do for a player like Zion. The Pelicans boast an incredibly deep roster that can get wins while Zion is out for whatever reason, and when he’s on the court the team is able to put any distractions to the side and play unselfish basketball. They can mold into so many different styles of play depending on what they need to do. Today they needed Zion to dominate in the paint to win, it was the only way, so the Pels didn’t just sit and let Zion do it by himself, to contradict something I said earlier they played around Zion. They helped him by blocking lanes with players like Jonas, or using the scoring threat of CJ and Murphy to create just that smallest bit of space, and bam Zion finds a way to the basket. Zions massive strength, speed, and his amazing handle, touch, and flexibility allow him to find the basket even with the smallest of windows, something very few guys with body types like Zion have ever done.
Then just let remember that this team doesn’t even have BI who is one of the best playmakers in the NBA, is insanely clutch, is a major leader, and is great for spacing and you have yourself a title contender and maybe even the western conference favorite.

Bro his driving of the basketball rivals that of Lebron at this point. I’m not just saying this after this one video. Zion has been consistently driving in the lane being guarded by two or even three grown men with success. They cannot stop him. The best big men in the league can’t stop him. He doesn’t just take the ball down low. He can get the ball at the top of the key, and when he decides to drive down low, he moves multiple defenders out of the way. Just like Lebron been doing his whole career.
