    One of the worst defensive efforts I’ve seen in a long time. It’s one thing when an opponent gets hot from 3 on a random night, but we just let them waltz into the paint all game with no resistance.

    i don’t wanna hear shit blaming Thibs for this one.

    Mitch and Hartenstein decided they didn’t want to show up today, Grimes and Rose couldn’t hit sand if they fell off a Camel’s ass and the Johnson’s randomly decided tonight was the night to start hitting threes.

    i hate losing streaks as much as anyone else but this one is on everyone not named Randle or Quick, not on the coach.

    and a side note here – Hartenstein blows. anyone who fell for that cult of u/eg14000 is a moron. this guy is not good. total turnstile when he’s forced to defend from the elbow down. no, he’s not being used wrong. he’s just not good.

    Please everyone chill with the overreactive takes. It was a bad loss and this is a game we probably should’ve won, but we’re missing RJ + Brunson. Even elite teams drop a few games when 2 of their 3 best guys are banged up. Thibs probably could’ve done better with rotation / minutes distribution but it’s not the time to sound the alarms and fire him, or give up on Grimes / trade Randle for that matter. Bad night. Bad skid. But let’s wait and get healthy before losing our minds.

    The extremely reactionary thing I’ve learned from the past two games is that Quickley is a solid, young scorer, but he’s not a point guard. He’s gonna be at his best when he just gets to look to score all the time.

    Can’t wait until Brunson returns. Then we will play somewhat competently with a proper floor general. Build the team around him. He’s the most important player. Randle hate is disgraceful. He’s been fighting hard this season and the reason we stay in these games. These bums need to step up until we get Brunson and rj back.

    – Knicks are a completely different team without RJ & Jalen.
    – Orange Julius did his thing tonight. He’s been in great form, and it sucks that we can’t fully appreciate it because the Knicks are losing.
    – Terrible, terrible defense. There’s good offense, and terrible effort on defense. It was mostly the latter tonight.
