Would you have played Darius Bazley last night if you were the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder?
I thought the same thing about Baze. I never criticize Mark but it’s obvious there are games where the Thunder get manhandled underneath, in this case Williams and Plumlee combined for 31 and 22, and Baze would have given them some physical presence. And still the opposition shoots well from three.
As tough as it was for JWill, it is a good learning experience for him. I believe Baze could have came in and provided energy on the defensive end. Without Poku and Chet, this team will get dominated inside.
