Nate McMillan, talking about rebounding with respect to the size of his team:
“LeBron is bigger than every guy we had tonight.”

More McMillan: “What we’re not doing a good job of is getting back in transition.”

Trae Young: “We’ve got to be better at making shots … I’ve got to be better at making shots.”

Noted that the Lakers were packing the paint and forcing them to shoot jump shots.

Trae, on playing through his first-half injury:

“I get hit a lot out there. I’m a small man playing out there with giants.”

Said he just has to keep playing through it.

Onyeka, on guarding LeBron:

“To me, he’s the greatest of all time. Me and John being in foul trouble doesn’t help, either. He’s just a physical specimen going downhill. It’s so hard sometimes; you have to foul him. He’s a tough cover. We’ll see him again a week from today.”

Onyeka Okongwu, on Dejounte Murray:

“Last game, he kept telling me – he was yelling at me – because he believes in me and wants me to be the best player that I can be. When one of your best players tells you that, it gives you a vote of confidence. He’s great in that regard.”

What a joke. Transition this, pace that. It’s like a broken record player.

Why aren’t we doing anything to make changes to the same issues that keep coming up? Someone tweet that out to one of the reporters to ask. Why the hell are we not making the necessary adjustments despite Nate claiming it’s due to the same problems night in and night out!?

I’ve never seen this man take responsibility for shit since he’s been here. Always deflecting.

    Edit: I’m referring to Nate

Yeah we should probably just not give a fuck about how we can rebound better bc 38 year old Lebron is on the court. Dude doesn’t believe in accountability for the players or himself

  4. Trae just stands at the top of the 3 point line when he doesn’t have the ball. Basically letting his guy double team the guy with the ball. It’s like he pouting until he gets the ball. It’s gross

trae says that all the time, nothing new nothing changed

and we have up 130 to this trash lakers team…what about the defense?

  6. I’ll agree with Nate on the “packing the paint” part. The Lakers forced a team that can’t shoot to shoot. We shot 29% as a team and they’re alot of 0s and 1s in the 3 point made column. That said it’s Nate’s job to game plan and minimize the weakness.

I like how trae says this but continue to shot at a career low so as everyone else on this team.

Trae is cooked at the moment ngl miami literally broke this team.
