Timberwolves are 4-2 without Gobert this season. That is very interesting. Gobert is still good on defense but his offense is just frustrating to watch. He has no post up moves, can’t shoot, can’t pass. That stuff. They’re more fun to watch as a team when Reid is on the floor than with Gobert on the floor. Spacing matters. Last night was just a disaster. Lost to the Pistons, who were without the very talented Cunningham. Ouch. That fourth quarter, especially, was a disaster. So the Timberwolves offense was rolling along after three quarters, scoring a bunch of points. Gobert had played like 15 minutes by that point. And in the fourth quarter, Gobert plays like 10 minutes and the Timberwolves offense just stopped scoring points. Uh…yeah, problems. That was a game that you couldn’t have afford to lose. What a big-time disaster this season has been so far. Like I said, it ain’t over till it’s over but time is running out.
