  1. The players on the Bench are beyond hope tbh somebody like Khem Birch or Bo Cruz will not develop in the long run as they have yet to be a positive on the court for any stretch of time it would be suprising if they are still on the team as there are other better bigs out there

  2. He's right ! The Raptors need to get their shit together. The problem may be the attitude of the coaches with NN the #1 coach that doesn't play his roster properly. He has to play his whole team, giving them some run to allow continuity. I agree we do need a good reliable centre, though, so a trade has to happen. The team can't stand pat at the trade dead line.

  3. The raptors have all the vital pieces. Typical clueless Fanboy who thinks he has all the answers. This roster needs at least 50% change, like it did pre and post Kawhi trade. Who is this Dude? Sorry W had to tune out immediately after Kindergarten Lad started his craziness.

  4. Take a look at Oscar Tshiebwe 6'9" 260 lbs 18/ 10 ave great rebounder shot blocker. Raps could get him with pick 45.

  5. We do have alot here . That is why it is so dissapointing to see them struggle so badly. Otto Porter has been a joke. No wonder he grabbed the 6million , 2year deal to sit on the bench. I agree your show is great. The only one I subscribe to right, now for the Raptor story.

  6. The Raptors situation is very complicated. The time frame, when they feel they will be ready to go for it, is important. They can't waste assets, on a rental for this season, they need to think 2 seasons away from now. Planing for the cap is also important. In a couple of years they will have to sign Siakam, OG, & Scottie, so they can't go out and resign Fred, GTJ, Poeltl, or a Turner, to big contracts, they just are not worth it, and won't put us over the top.
The center position was a big problem this season, for these reasons; Koloko, is a perfect fit for the Raps. He needs to put on a few pounds, and learn the Raps complicated system. He has been a pleasant surprise, but not ready for big minutes this season. He is our rim protector of the future, and nails his 3's in practice. Precious, is a great defender, and can shoot the 3, but he has been injured most of the season. Porter, could of handled some minutes at center, but he also has been injured. Birch, has been a disappointment at center, because of injury limitations, talent, & fit. Because of Precious's injury, and Koloko being a rookie, the Raps have had to use Spicy, OG, & Scottie too much to cover that position, which wears them down. In a couple of seasons, a healthy Precious, and a more seasoned Koloko, will make the center position very solid for the Raps. Signing a Poeltl, or Turner, would both hurt the development of our young centers, and eat up all of the Raps cap space. Projecting 2 years into the future the Raps are better off with Precious/Koloko, … A Turner, or Poeltl, does not move the bar much, on what we will have in 2 years. And the Raps need the cap space for an upgrade at the guard position.
Fred, must be traded. The team is revolting against his leadership style, he is breaking down physically, and his length/speed limitations, often leave him in awkward match ups. Fred, does a poor job running the team, a poor passer, who holds onto the ball too long, walks the ball up the court, and jacks up too many ill advised shots. Fred, stubbornly thinks he is a pg, and wants a "max contract".
The Raps are not high on GTJ. He is very limited as a streaky 3 point shooter. Good when he gets hot, but hard to hide when he is not. It could work with GTJ coming off the bench, but he wants to get a big pay day, this summer, and he is just not worth it, so he also must get traded, before he walks, for nothing.
Porter will soon be healthy, and could get us a decent pick in a trade to a contender. He is a free agent after this season, so the Raps need to turn him into an asset.
I also would shop Boucher around, if he could bring the Raps a pick in this years amazing draft, we could build up our assets. Boucher adds energy to the team, but he is one of many very low IQ players.
The 2023 draft, will be a great one, and is very, very deep. The Raps are not getting SGA, in a trade, or any other player of that caliber. The only way they will get that type of player is through the draft, and a top 10 pick in this draft will be a pure blue chipper, and there will be many studs even late in the draft. Think about 2 years from now, … The raps have Koloko/Precious, at center, plus Scottie, Siakam, & OG. The players they draft in 2023 could be the 5th starter, or be traded along with draft picks, to get the star they will need to contend.
Another obvious problem with this team is the roster construction. Too many similar players, who use similar real estate, have the same weaknesses, etc … Even by unloading Fred & GTJ, we find out that Malachi & Dowtin, will bring something else that will help team chemistry, and maybe even give the team a charge?
This season could end up becoming a blessing. The Raps should use the remainder of the season, too tank, acquire future assets, and develop.

  7. Tear it down. Trade pascal, fred, gtj, oj, get 10 plus first rounders and prospects back. Wiseman and kuminga good start and 1st rounders.

  8. Dude at the bottom needs to keep quiet on talking basketball. We need a center that can play defense. The shooters are ok but nick nurse is not utilizing players like champengi and players are injured. But the overall roster construction isn't working. We need a trade.

  9. I think part of the hold up on trades is that losing makes their first round pick harder to give up. And that's probably what it would take to get a guy like Poeltl, for example.

  10. Raptors already have everything they need. Precious is the center we need and otto is the shooting we need.

  11. We need a new voice a new couching what's the point of rebuilding if NN will never play then

  12. I WILL HELP YOU OUT everyone was right to different degrees

First of all Coaching ….I do agree that it's a problem
    Center …Raptors need top13 Center
PG…..Fred is not a number one point guard, he is the best to trade for a center, because we already have players to handle the rock that can match his shooting percentage and play better defense.
Trent Jr. Is a keeper he is better than Freddy and coach calling him out and trade rumors is really stupid, dumbest thing all season he is the second best scorer on this team and he is only 23.
I would be upset if they never tank, what are they going to win this year… absolutely nothing
Resign Jr. is number 1 priority….Let Fred walk..21 million plus…..Throw money at a center.
Get rid of Thaddeous young and Porter and Birch. That's $20 700 000 , are you insane.

Not a hard team to fix they do have pieces. I believe management don't want go get rid of the guy they should Loyalty along with coaching is the problem this season. But no worries tank and fix team with trades and draft and free agent signings

  13. Raptors are not even a Play In team right now, the idea of selling draft capital for help is pure crazy talk. Trades need to happen to manage the Salary Cap monster and bring in more talent to develop. I don't think most people understand Vision 6'9". It isn't about having all the same type of players. It's about having tall athletic players, some with better handles, some better size, some better shooting, some better passing…but all have size and length. All can switch if needed rather than give up an advantage. All have some passing, handling, shooting skills to exploit mismatches. Not having specialist players that run PG great but are weak defenders or centers that can block but can't shoot.

  14. Is everyone just afraid to admit that this team stinks? Jesus Christ, do you want a treadmill team or do you want a championship team? Treadmill.. sure hope get some bandaids and throw in some first rounders while you’re at it. Championship team- tear it down and build a proper damn team already.

  15. Plenty of point gaurd selection in the 2023 draft: Scoot Henderson, Anthony Black, and Cason Wallace…Time to start looking towards the draft

  16. I like this format, we need a Jacob Peodle because that will really unlock the current starters specifically Siakam. I have seen Siakam slashed the time in so long that was majority of his game 2018-9.

  17. The Raptors doesn’t need anyone for trade deadline. All the tools raptors need they have, Fred VanVleet have Malichai Flynn who is showing confidence, Pascal Siakam just need to hold his head up and see the floor and stop running into a wall of traffic defenders when 2-3 men are open because he draw 2-3 defenders always, OG Anunoby is one of the top 5 defenders in the league so we have that covered we Have Gary Trent who is an assassin shooter he just need to pass once in a while. Scottie Barnes is and elite IQ just need to be consistent Scottie Barnes should be playing center he is great at that position we see him going up against Joel Embiid and took him to school the biggest man in the NBA we saw that during the playoffs almost triple double we see this kat match up against any elite and beat even Lebron get angry because he was schooling him too. The problem I see is Christian Koloko he isn’t ready for the position that Nick Nurse having him in because he doesn’t know to box out always playing behind the defenders he doesn’t rebound or post up he is more worried about shooting 3s which isn’t what he is supposed to do we have 4 guys for that Fred, Gary, OG, Pascal, Malichai 5 players to shoot those. We have a good team just coaching positions.

  18. Plan A: No injuries. Add depth. Develop a second line. Add variety. Bombed! Precious was better defensively than offensively until his injury. Porter has not played enough. Missing pieces: Scottie, Van Vleet, Ananouby and Trent due to injuries or illness. Gamble on Scottie as pg, gamble on Koloko as defacto center and Banton as cover for pg. Flynn as a sleeper pg. Biggest failure thus far has been Hernangomez.

Blan B: Shift players to 2nd line to improve vision statistics. Now neither line working, scoring, defense and 3 pt shooting has faltered. Sporadic wins. Even when NN uses a tight 6 – 8 players. Certain key injured players have not returned as planed. Causing a downturn in results. Stay the course. Play out the season. Disrupt league and/or playoff options.

Plan C: Minor trades to offset injuries and results.

Plan D: Keep the good parts or build around the parts with the longest future. Incorporating opportunities in the draft and summer trades.

Plan E: Bust up the team and retool now starting with the draft and progressing to the summer. Could be new or hybrid version of two way, multi purpose, 6 ft 9" players. Team could be anchored by Pascal, OG, Scottie, Fred, Gary.

  19. Great points-we have the shooters, but they are underperforming. Our centres are quite awful. This coaching of such a defensive scheme has only taken us so far and the league has for the most part have figured us out…
