Over the last 16 games Sam Hauser is shooting 28.1% from 3 and is a -45

I expect this slump to eventually end, but it’s clear he’s very limited even when his shot is hitting. Starting to think we should be active in the trade market for a backup wing when the deadline rolls around.

Pistons want to trade Saddiq Bey, he’s only getting paid 3m this season and 5m next, fits into our TPE, and is a good team fit as well from a playstyle/age perspective. Really think we should go after him

Ya this man cannot be our first wing off the bench. Fun story for a month but it’s time for him to sit

Edit: by the way we’re 10-6 in our last 16. We need his shot or someone with a reliable 3 to step up from the wing

He’a changed his shooting form. Idk why

We just need one fucking dude to hit his threes the past month and not a single role player has stepped up to hit some open shots. Trades are needed

Thank you! There’s a lot of dumb shit said on the sub after a loss. But you my friend have brought up a main culprit. He’s really shit the bed. Think Brad might need to get us a better back up wing. It can fuck us come playoff time.

Please just anyone who can create their own shot. Idc if our bench has played good this year we need a reliable wing badly. Idk why it’s taking people just now to realize.

It’s almost like relying on him wasn’t a good idea.

Dude is a clapper on the end of the bench, he’s not a role player.

  8. Don’t know if we’d want to trade another first round pick but we do have 3 second round picks this year including one from the ~~magic~~ rockets which should land very early in the second round. I’m sure we can find someone out there that a tanking team will take a few second round picks for. Just someone that can shoot/score off the bench to help brown and tatum out a bit. Kelly oubre? Alec burks? Terrence ross? Idk just throwing names out there who shouldnt cost anything but salary filler and a second round pick

    Welcome back to earth.

He is still at 41% on year, which is still good.

Really tough match up but watching him get torched off Hyland was so painful

Young players are going to have ups and down. If you can’t stick with them through their downs, you won’t reap the benefits when (if) they become consistently good.

He’s just another guy now. Hasn’t added any value all of December. If this month isn’t any different, time to move on.

Why don’t we bring back Crowder he’d be perfect at C’s
Very good 3 and D player. It just sucks we don’t have galo cause he wouldve AVG 12-15 PPG and stretch the floor.
