Minnesota needs to dump Dlo for a real NBA caliber PG. Thry need someone who has the vision to see Gobert when he's wide open under the basket and can shoot the ball efficiently. Gobert taking less shots than last year isn't entirely his fault, if Dlo and Edwards want to jack up contested jumpers all game while Rudy is by himself under the basket they'll never make it work.
Wolves should trade KAT for a good point guard, like Halliburton. That will be a stellar team

Kat is similar to AD in not wanting to be seen/play as a big man. This trade, if it fails will cripple the wolves. I would have rather they taken a flier on a Jonathan Issac(cheaper, young, more mobile) depending his medical or Mo Bamba. Also this Trade and the Wiggins/pick for D-lo trade… this Front office is in desperate need of an overhaul.
It is not a tough call they have to keep Christian Wood.

That was such a bad trade for Gobert. He's way overpaid and wasn't worth all house assets
When are people going to realize that all of the wolves 5 starters in some form are part of the problem. KAT and Gobert have been very underwhelming and often kill momentum. Anthony Edwards is taking a 3rd year statistical leap but he is a very low IQ player and struggles with effort and hustle. Dlo is also improving statistically but he is one of the worst rebounders and defenders in the entire league. Lastly, Jaden McDaniels, as good as he is on defense, is so inconsistent offensively, and is also one of the worst rebounders in the NBA.
When Dlo and Edwards both have the keys to the car, you will see lots of ugly half court offense, lots of heat checks, lots of iso. I agree that Towns and Gobert are part of the problem, but even when those 2 are out, Ant and Dlo aren’t good enough to win.
To be fair, Anthony Edwards has passed the basketball to Rudy Gobert like 8 times all year 😂
Some of it is because Rudy can’t catch a ball, some of it is because Ant is trying to chuck a long 2-pointer all game long

I called that Gobert trade terrible when it happened, and I've seen nothing positive come from it. They were better off giving all that up for Mitchell or going after SGA, Murray. All they did was clog the paint with a guy that can barely score in it.
Kat is out with injury and they have no chemistry, Ant is just putting empty stats not playing real winning games and Gobert is not playing like he used to in Utah, this team sucks sell this franchise

With Minnesota the problem seems to be what Jimmy Butler pointed out whilst he was still there, good players but happy to stack individual numbers , get max deals but not enough winning mentality. Butler went to NBA finals and Eastern Conference finals with Miami since he left and Timberwolves have had 1 playoff appearance since.
