The refs fucked us but, we still had a great chance to win. Sorry to say this but, I feel Patrick Williams doesn’t know which way is up sometimes. He boxes out, we win the game.

Takeaways from tonight’s game:
* Deebo was very good on offense and defense tonight. Can’t ask for more. It would’ve been an even more ridiculous statline without the performance from the zebras. He’s not a great 3 point shooter, but he’s been taking more recently and I think it’s a good thing. He was 2/5 before the last shot in reg and it forces the defense to play him way harder off ball. He’s a capable shooter if left open so him taking them matters a lot imo.
* Zach had a solid shooting night, but not great. Happy with how he played as a whole. When they got into foul trouble it was really nice to see him go to the basket after working the outside early. This is what Zach should be doing against teams that block shots well. Outside first, then inside when they’re struggling with the bonus.
* Vucevic didn’t get many shots tonight, but the team looked good as a whole. He was doing what was necessary and did it efficiently. I do think we should’ve went to him even more after they put JA on Demar. K-love is not capable of defending him and that’s just a fact.
* Pat had an underwhelming night. The box out on the last FTA in reg hurts a lot.
* AC was struggling to finish at the rim, I’m not going to lie. He played D as well as anyone could with how this game was officiated.
* Billy needs to be better about dealing with adjustments mid game. After JA went onto Demar we really didn’t have a plan in my eyes. Demar needs to get that ball after getting a switch or we need to go to Zach/Vucevic. At least he picked up a tech in the 3rd quarter about officiating. It should’ve happened sooner.
* In OT we just couldn’t make a 3. Pat missed one, Ayo missed two, Zach missed one. It’s on a knives edge at that point and we just didn’t make the shots.
* Even though I try to avoid this a lot in the recaps, it probably needs to be said. It was a shameful display from the Zebras tonight. 40 fucking FTA’s in regulation. This game was absolutely free until the 3rd quarter where they got to the line 20 something times.
MVP’s for tonight: Demar DeRozan with HM’s going to Zach and Vucevic.
