  1. Can we move on from Bradley Beal? He has been a potential trade for over 3 years now.

  2. I think with the style of Luka its hard to fit in a secondary star. U have to sink or swim with him..He had Kristaps but they didnt click due to the limited touches

  3. This may have jinxed him since hes having one of his worst games ever.
    10 points on 12 shots , 3 turnovers

  4. Luka is DIFF – Also I can't help but comment on how the hell is Tommy's camera so tilted and yet he himself is straight in the shot – I'm just impressed

  5. They're spot on w Siakam and Beal being good fits. Siakam has already been the #3 guy on a championship team and he plays the defense that Luka doesn't and/or shouldn't. Beal's gone furthest in the playoffs when Wall and Pierce had the ball in key moments.

Problem with both those guys is that they might see going from being the #1 option on their team now to become a #2 as a demotion.

  6. Luka has been amazing. Have you noticed since C Wood have been starting center. The Maverick interior is not compromised. * The Maverick need to start J McGee at Center. Rim protector and inside threat. Start C Wood at forward instead of R Bullock. The Maverick lost last year because their interior was compromised, and their wings (Bullock/Finney) were not consistent. Now that you have consistency with C Wood start him, with Hardaway. Dinwiddie seem to be off this season. Maybe the Maverick can pickup Miles Bridges. He can shot, rebound, dunk, and have a inside game. *Image Luka running the pick and roll with McGee. Also, Luka throwing McGee lobs. Less not forget McGee blocking shots. With McGee and Bridges Luka would not have to help so much on the boards. Saving his legs for the 4th qtrs.

  7. I love these pods, but I donโ€™t think Tommie gets enough credit when he says something smart. Siskin makes more sense than Beal, and JJ refused to acknowledge it. Again, loves these guys and the pods, but that seems to be a common theme-JJ getting credit and Tommie not, even when he deserves it

  8. The perfect star player to pair with Luka would be (imho) Giannis, for several reasons. Both of them have gravity and will be double or triple teamed leaving other guys open, including each other. Of course Giannis would be less ball dominant if he ever played with Luka but would score just as much.
Giannis for defense, rebounding, fast breaks, secondary ball handler and passer, 30 points average.
Luka for half court offense, primary ball handler and passer, pick and roll with Giannis would be deadly, he also averages 30+ points.
This would be the perfect duo!

  9. Watch the Miami Heat creeping up the east standing. Shai-Gil Alexander MIP. Mike Brown coach of the year. The Kings are doing better this year then 16 years. It's so strange/amazing even the media has ignored them.
How about a interview with Giannis, Jaylen Brown, C J McCullough or Jason on The Volume.

  10. Jan 3 Amazing play er ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ

  11. I think Pascal Siakam would be a great fit. I think his game is perfect for playoff basketball on both ends of the floor. He can play off a ball-dominant player like Luka with his cutting and screening skills, and he can also run an offense decently well with Luka on the bench. It would be very costly, though, not sure if the Mavs could afford him, if he's even available.

I don't think Beal is nearly as versatile in that respect, but I also don't pay much attention to the Wizards.

  12. How about locking up Banchero before Orlando offers him a long term contract? Like Luka his skill set is ahead of his age and heโ€™s immensely coachable. Great basketball IQ as well.

  13. Pascal Siakam would cost the Mavs too many picks. The Raptor the Mavs should target is OG Anunoby. He lines up in age with Luka. And he provides want Luka doesn't on the defensive end and he can play off the ball

  14. Kidd said something about the Mavs not necessarily needing a second all star. As JJ says, Wood and Dinwiddie have been solid enough, and TH Jr should help. Team misses Kleber. This might be enough, though.

  15. Rebounding is mavs problem, kidd needs to trust bertans(catch and shoot) and mcgee. Bullock to be traded for any defensive player.

  16. The problem is that you can't really on TH Jr. to shoot lights out, Wood and Dinwiddie are good players but not really the #2 they need. Brunson wasn't that either but together, these 3 would have been enough, but now?

Dallas still needs a playmaker and a big to protect the paint and rebound, they are losing ALL rebounding battles. Most of the Mavs' players are more limited, if they don't have another playmaker, they need more players that can dribble, they can't be mostly just spot-up shooters.

The Mavs need some big changes to be able to step to the level other teams are. Jokic has Murray, MP Jr, Gordon, KCP… Zion has Ingram, McCollum, Valanciunas… Morant has JJ Jr, Bane, Brooks… If you strip the best player of all teams, Mavs probably have the worst roster of any play-in team and above.

I agree that Siakam is probably is a good complementary star for Luka, I always think on somebody like a young Paul George. A wing that can dribble, create for himself, play off the ball, defend, run some plays if needed, athletic and can penetrate the paint and attack the rim.

  17. Luka is the number one reason Wemby has so much hype. Luka made the Americans get over themselves. People were saying he's gonna be a bust cause he was European. Stick it to them Luka. Balkan basketball is elite

  18. Bro luka is playing 2k in real life on mycareer he avg a triple double im trying to beat him for mvp ๐Ÿ˜…

  19. so LeBron Wilt Larry Kobe Harden Kidd or Jokic never recorded 500 points 125 assts&rebs in a calender month???? wtf??
Westbrook Jordan Oscar and Luka are all out of this world to do that in a single month…. alot of guys are fortunate to score 1000 in a season or 10k in a career… these Gods put up 500 points in one month thats crazy to think about

  20. Optimal player to put next to Luka is a rim-rolling, lob threat that can facilitate and stretch the floor on offense, roam the paint and protect the rim on defense. Someone like Bam Adebayo.

  21. First of all as a Raptors fan, f*** u Tommy for suggesting Siakam being traded. Hypothetically speaking though, Pascal would be amazing with Luka. He will get his points via fastbreaks and hustle plays, great in the PNR, great defender, can get his own bucket if they deny/double Luka. We saw what he was capable of beside Kawhi, and that was before the leaps heโ€™s made.
