This trade is for the ages… The fit was always bad from the start and the price was too high. Unless Gobert suddenly finds out he's a 40% three point shooter, there is little he can do to remedy this situation… He is eating up all the space in the middle on offense for his teammates to get to the hoop. And they already had KAT to plop down in the middle for those post ups and KAT is like 20x the offensive talent that Gobert is. It is not like the Wolves had a CP3 type player waiting on the roster to feed the new big man with lobs all game long… The Gobert fit is just bad on offense. He is still bringing it defensively, but overall his defense is not compensating for the offensive logjam he creates.
Wolves as a whole are just not good at all from the team, coach and front office. I called this trade bad from the get go, I believe that DeAndre Ayton would be the fit they need since he have offense and decent defense. Anthony Edwards can be better he's very inconsistent and KAT isn't as good as they say he is. Prayers to Damar Hamlin 🙏🏿
