Luka is a G. Not taking anything from him but it was a big case of too much referee assistance to Luka. You can't breathe on that dude. I saw other players on both teams getting hammered and they let em play through it but Luka gets superstar calls. He barely got touched on a few occasions and he got the whistle. I hate that shit. Superstar calls need to be done away with.
The Rockets are so hell bent on running the offense through KPJ and Jalen that not only it’s effecting their development but the development of our other young guys as well.
KPJ and Jalen aren’t ready or aren’t capable to run an offense yet or play a iso heavy offense that’s just not who they are as players.
The smart thing is obviously run through Sengun, he is a poor man Jokic he makes everybody better with his playmaking including Jalen and KPJ.
But the FO just doesn’t believe in Sengun and his style of play and it’s sad to see. If that’s the case why draft Sengun in the first place like go get Trey Murphy or like Herb Jones instead.
If they are also so hellbent in making KPJ the guy like why draft Jalen Green. He and KPJ are the same player it makes no sense to draft him if they think KPJ is a franchise player they should have drafted Mobley and probably kept Jared Allen.
It’s obvious Stone has a idea on how he wants the rockets to run but he didn’t draft or get the right players for this iso heavy system to work. So he get some blame here and honestly his seat should be getting hot right now
KPJ with good individual numbers but once again being the reason the team gets stagnant on offense. He has to try his hesi+behind the back/spin move a couple of times before passing out with 8 seconds left on the shot clock. He has NOT improved as a PG. At all.
Ball movement, ball movement, ball movement. Dump the iso. EG moved way up on my all time fave list with comment. I've been around long enough to remember the Ralph Samson hype – Wemby will not be a savior. Silas needs to go and I would start looking for a new GM if things don't turn around next year.
Man, I think J.Smith#1 will leave the Rockets in free agency if the team continue to ignore him in the offense!
