  1. RickmanLives

Joe Mazulla is going to have to give this team an all time silent treatment after this one

Also, please for the love of fucking Christ give PP more mins

  2. crackdup

Does someone have a time machine I can use to go back to before the Dubs game?

  3. HailKyrie

The issue is effort really. Coaching could use some work but literally can’t help when a bunch of our guys aren’t giving a shit. Long season but good lord this last month has blown.

  4. Brad-Stevens

When you’re feeling good about the team heading into the New Year on a 4 game winning streak including wins vs the Bucks and full strength Clippers ….

…but then the Nuggets and Thunder shoot 170% from the field and 120% from 3pt

We got fucking nuked by a euroleague squad 😭

  6. Reposting this from the game thread:

If only there was an attribute that Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Robert Williams, Grant Williams, Derrick White, and Malcolm Brogdon were all elite at.

Something that we could consistently hang our hat on, and would be much less subject to variance.

Could you imagine if such an attribute existed, and we could design an entire system around it? We’d be unstoppable!

But alas, such an attribute does not exist. I guess we’ll just have to settle for trying to score 130 every night and just not care about what happens on the other end of the court, and give no effort. Surely that will lead to success!

I turned this off before halftime and I’m not sorry.

I don’t understand why Mazulla can’t commit the same type of defensive schemes Ime implemented last year. I mean he was an assistant coach so he was literally there when Ime constructed it.

Our defense says alot this game where we gave up almost 150+ points without SGA.

And please don’t say Rob got injured this year. Even if Rob was out last year, our defense was decent.

Al’s age and his regression may have been a factor but I think this has something to do with Mazulla not being an authoritarian leader compared to Ime where he blatantly spats our players bulllshit after post-game interviews.

I hate to admit Mazulla isn’t the right coach for us. ***His mentality of “three’s always greater than two’s” will not bring us banner 18,*** but hey if you’re seeing this Joe, prove us wrong

Just to put this loss in perspective, “The highest-scoring regular season game in regulation was between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets on November 2, 1990. In that game, Golden State defeated Denver 162–158.” (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-scoring_NBA_games#Summary) If being 13 points away from giving up the most points in regulation in the history of the NBA doesn’t light a fire under their asses, I’m not sure what will…

  10. RealKernschatten

At least the Thunder didn’t break 150. That would have been embarrassing.

  11. FlyinFowl

    Pritchard needs more minutes

Team should try putting one of those two things attached to their torso up when their man’s taking a three

That’s all I got. Only silver lining is this only counts for one loss in the column

  12. samross100

If defense wins championships, this team wins absolutely nothing

  13. Revan----

That’s actually one of the worst regular season performances I’ve seen from this team in recent memory.

I am morbidly curious to see the kinds of absurd shit Luka is going to do to this defense.

Edit: it IS the worst, 33 points is the biggest loss they’ve had since Tatum was drafted. Yikes.

  14. EStreet_

Shoutout to Pritchard scoring 17 in 15 min and playing hard to the end!

  15. YRwerunning

Jaylen Brown: “we won’t play the Nuggets again this year”

    Thunder: “I’m the Nuggets now”

  16. TheFirstExecutioner

Worst loss in the Tatum Brown era. Pathetic and embarrassing from everyone. We’re soft af right now letting that team punk us like that

  17. beardmat87

So what are we using as an excuse tonight? Something is rotten on this team at the moment and I can’t quite figure out what it is. But they can’t keep playing like this and expect to get anywhere when it matters OKC is not a great team yet they just let them put up 150 points and it was never a close game.

  18. Plastic_Database_645

We need ***the energy is about to shift*** V2 type of JB’s tweet after this game. Absolute embarrassing

  19. Beantown00

We are in dire need of another wing and another big. Get the Jays some fucking help in general, no one else is doing shit right now

  20. They really gave up 150 points to a G League team. If Kevin McCarthy didn’t exist, we’d be the biggest losers on the planet right now
