Would have been one of the craziest finishes to a game I’ve ever seen.

Isn’t it a rule where you can’t catch and shoot with 0.4 seconds left thanks to Derek Fisher?

Holly crap man that’s one way to end a game from fox hitting a clutch layup to give the kings a two point lead to markkanen hitting a three but it just after the shot clock wow

In post-game, Fox said by rule, and cited Derek Fisher that with 0.4 or fewer seconds a shot has to be a tip, not a jump shot.

Is he correct in this assessment, and no matter if the clock hadn’t hit zero yet, the shot would have been disallowed regardless?

Fox’s shot went thru with .6 left. Markkanen robbed

It’s a nice a game winner highlight for Lauri, but if you watched the game… I’m not giving him much credit. Basketball gods intervened.

Kelly olynk would have made the shot in time

That pass was beautiful by Vanderbilt. This play in general reminds me a bit of Love’s pass to LeBron who hit a fading bank 3 to tie in Washington

No Jazz replay is complete without an Olynyk flop

How does the rule go when it comes to stopping the clock after a made basket btw? The ball enters the rim with 1.0 seconds left from Fox’s shot, exits with 0.5 left but the clock stops at 0.4.

If only they checked the clock, he would have had the time he needed

Fox’s layup ball went through the hoop at 0.7 seconds. That final shot would have counted if only the timekeeper stopped the clock earlier.
