Ron lost me with acting like going the cap space route would inevitably mean trying to trade for Beal.
If the Lakers want to go star hunting for Beal, they would do it via pursuing a Westbrook trade before the deadline. Westbrook’s expiring contract would represent a “get out of jail free” card for Washington. The Lakers do NOT have enough contracts on the books to match Beal’s salary via trade this summer, nor enough cap room to absorb his salary.
Makes me question the “I don’t trust Rob to throw a good life preserver” analogy if you don’t understand the cap/asset situation for the team.

This is so dumb two starter level players would make a massive difference if they had buddy and turner at the start of the season they would be potentially number 1 in the west right now in addition you would have these players for next year.. Kuzma is good but at this point overated he is younger than Bojan but bojan is clearly better..

U cant be scared to make a deal. Lebron alone has proved he can get to conf finals on any team. With AD healthy they can get there. They shouldve been made the trade for Buddy and Myles. However, if they can get Demar and Vucevic get them. They're a damn good fit and I think they win a chip. Don't see anyone being able to beat that team.
