How the LA Clippers Got Obliterated by Denver on National TV

The LA Clippers had their worst game in the 213 era with both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George healthy, against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday Night. So bad that they didn’t even play in the entire 2nd half. Was it a case of low effort or just a bad night at the office? What does it say about the team?

In this episode, Die Hard Clipper fan Darian Vaziri breaks down why he thought the Los Angeles Clippers were down 34 at the half, why he has grown annoyed with the teams lackadaisical approach to the regular season time and time again, and ends with why the dream is still alive.

  1. The Clippers are an absolute disgrace. I said before the season started that they should have traded for Vanderbilt but people kept telling me that Batum and Roco was just as good defenders. I also said sacrificing Hartenstein for Wall was a mistake and it has become clear that I was correct on that one. I wanted Moses Brown waived and a better center 3 or 4 months ago and we are still stuck with that useless lump. The Clippers season has completely come off the rails and something needs to change because they frankly are playing terrible. They are good enough to win the championship but changes need to be made because this team is playing terrible.

  2. Nothing new for us to drop a big game on national Television, but honestly at this point it might sound kinda crazy but I think we may have to put T mann in a trade package as well if ty Lou is gonna continue to not play em,what’s the point of havin a guy like him when he doesn’t even play smh? And also the fact kawhi only played 18 minutes and he still may not play today is actually crazy😂havin a team like this almost makes me miss the 2018-2019 roster when our guys we’re actually eager to play,if you give these guys a reason to sit out best believe they will😒

  3. BRO…… this game was awful. I turned it off in the 2nd quarter 😂😂😂😂 gotta be the worst Clippers game I’ve seen and I’ve been a fan for 10+ years smh

  4. Perhaps players sending a signal to Ballmer re Lue & his coaching ways, just a thought…..

  5. Agree, about time to realize that Lue clearly doesn’t mind losing, it don’t mean a thing, just listen to him after them losses!

  6. Its bittersweet that the clippers got embarrassed like this but I’m happy now management will have to address the fact that this team is on a 4 game losing streak and changes will have to be made to the roster. Im not sure but I think the team is quitting on ty lue

  7. So bcuz we lost I'm supposed to hate on the guys now?? Is losing a REGULAR SEASON game so serious?? Really?? Man, you win some you lose some, THATS LIFE…. I ain't gonna hate, its on to the next game…. Do you guys actually believe Kawhi is gonna MISS the playoffs?? I mean come on…..🤔

  8. Bruh, you're far to kind with your assessment of this game. Additionally a little to hard on PG. Did you watch this entire game? Saying that you could have just benched PG and Reggie only? Bro what were you looking at?

That whole entire damn starting lineup needed to be benched. They were all awful, including Kawhi, Morris. Zu actually gets a pass, I could tell that his intent was not to get embarrassed by Jokic.

Zu, Mann, and Powell actually tried and played hard. On another note I actually agree with Ty benching all of the starters; this is the 2nd time he's had to bench all of the starters. I think Ty was trying to send a message to the starters, all of those guys should be embarrassed.

Darian there's absolutely no way to sugar coat this. The effort was absolutely awful. Reggie and Morris have to go.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on with this team. Permanent lineup changes have to be made after last night.

  9. Complete lack of effort dime. Noone wamted this game, and honestly shout out t lue for starting scrubs in the second half, the starters need a real hard look in the mirror. They r the issue. I hate being a downer on the team but i jus dont see any difference between this year an the previouse 3. Same bad habbits, same mistakes, nothing has changed. Iso ball is still very alive n not doing well. Were so deep yet seems like noone trusts the next guy to make a shot, or they jus dont wanna pass, either way, it dont work. Idk if its coaching, idk if its just a lack of effort n energy. Or a combo of everything. But its sad that we're supposed to b playin for a chip and theres no improvement from past seasons that ended with no chip…

  10. Honestly i dont think t lue threw in the towel jus to do it. Bigger picture is the starters had to feel that. Look in the mirror. Watch SCRUBS come out an play better than them. Honestly i liked it from ty let the starters sit in that shit and bathe in it

  11. Im with u dime, the ty gettin blamed is bs imo, wen guys dont move the ball an look like theyre sleeping. U can only tell em so much they have to go out n do it

  12. All else fails lets blame John Wall’s plus/minus and his poor three point shooting. 😂 Been said Wall was better and should have been started over Reggie. He’s a good back up PG not a starting PG in the NBA. 👌🏾

  13. Is it time to gut the team? I don't know now but as a long time clippers fan I been disappointed alot, Nothing new. This Is embarrassing and honestly doesn't feel good to continue to show support for a team who just continues to let you down . I'm so disappointed in this team and beginning to think that it's just time to start fresh again

  14. Denver is just too good, they are not scared or the Clippers. Wish we had guys with the mentality that Bones Hylaand and other Nuggets players have.
