Funny Fred blames the depth and bench this year when last year he was an "all-star" and was working with the same bench pretty much…Also funny he blames the bench even though his usage rate is higher with the bench than it is with the starters….there is a clear denominator here.

Just repeating the Raptors record is not true indication of their performance. They have lost majority of their games in final 5 minutes or overtime. The bench when Gary Trent starts is so weak and underperforming.
Also the coach is not being creative with his subs, combine all that and these are the results.

Role definition seems to be a problem on this team. Fred did say last month when asked how they told him about his role and he Said he wasn't told anything be anyone he just figured it out with the play calls. That's a coaching issue. They clearly aren't playing hard on defense for NN. Who has NN developed since taking over 🤔… Pascal OG Fred were all developed when Casey was coach.

If we’re talking about a full blown REBUILD, then I’d rather go with Ayton. He’s only 24 and would better for the timeline with Scottie and OG (would probably fit alongside them better too). But for a retool, keep Siakam. Every fan base always overvalues their own players. When it comes to mock trades, fans only want to pull the trigger if it’s an outrageous and mind blowing deal 😂. As for the logic of tanking…honestly, why not at this point? Even if we turn the season around, this team is a 1st round exit at best, unless Masai works some crazy magic and a wild trade is done by the deadline
We should look at getting wiseman his stock isn’t too high rn perfect , ayton is a possible cancer and I don’t feel is super consistent neither is wiseman but with are training staff something can be unlocked with him I feel
Trade by the No Dunks crew is ridiculous. Not only is trading Crowder insane because he was sitting out due to the fact that he wanted to start not because he didn’t want to play for the Suns and 1 pick is WAY to little in draft compensation.
In the first 15-20 games, Nurse was playing more bench. The Raptors had better record then.
Since Nurse went back to playing starters 39-40 min+ a game, the Raptors had worse record. The bench production became even worst as bench players don't get consistent minutes. And Nurse has every bench player on a SHORT LEASH. I think the bench is not happy with the inconsistent role. For 2 weeks, we saw Flynn with 20+ min a game. He was ok.. some good games, some not so good. But you can't blame Flynn has he barely get 10-min a game. Lately Nurse just doesn't play him much at all.. as Nurse is determined to get a W at the expense of high playing time for the starters.
I have a feeling this might be Nurse's last year with the Raptors. He "OK" the 6'8/6'9 forward roster, and it is not working out well so far. It was a test run and failed. Guys are too big to defend quick guard penetration and too small to defend BIG centres.

Siakam is a better player than Ayton for sure, but Ayton's age fits better, if its a straight up trade I will do it, even with GTJ for Cameron Johnson sure whatever, but we have to give up a first? Hell NO.

I’ve been down (of course) on FVV’s play this season but I have not participated in the bashing. Still feel he can turn thins around and you don’t trade someone whose value has fallen so much BUT I really did not like the things he said during this interview. He passive aggressively pointed at everything but himself. It’s the minutes, it’s the flow, it’s the bench, it’s everyone and everything but himself. I’m disappointed.
I don’t like the way Fred plays I’m not gunna lie but when he’s hot it works . But I’m from Toronto and my 3 top young players to keep is Barnes, Trent , Og no way Siakam is in the mvp conversation at all that’s like saying lebron is in the mvp conversation and I could say he’s been playing at the same level as Pascal at 38

Fred is a leader by today's standards. Great talker. Follow what I say and not so much what I do.
People really want to pay Pascal that super max contract ? 🤔 I wouldn’t trade Pascal for Ayton because I think he’s better than Ayton but he’s not untouchable in my book’s. Paying that man a super max contract is a big decision and I’m not sure we’ve won a playoff series with him as the man running the show. Sure he put’s up stat’s but the question is does he make his teammates better ? 🤔 a lot of superstars around the league simply make their teammates better especially the 2nd and 3rd option on that team. You can ask the question does pascal make Fred, Trent, Scottie or OG better ? He put’s up stats but that doesn’t mean he make’s his co stars better players ? We’ve seen Steph, Lebron and superstars like that make players around them better. Lebron made guy’s like Channing Frye and Jr Smith look like Ray Allan at times. It’s the same question I have about players like Lillard. I don’t feel like these players make those around better. Another example is Westbrook in his prime. Did he make those around him better and that’s the question I have about pascal . Some people just look at the stats a player puts up but don’t look at the rest of his teammates just standing and watching him go to work and that’s not good team basketball.
There's lots of heat for Fred. But this comes down to Nurse and front office. Nurse is so loyal to his starters. He won't bench a starter, yet criticizes Boucher let's say. Other coaches bench their stars if they're not performing or there's attitude, whatever. Nurse sticks with the same guys. Pascal is performing, OG hopefully makes it as an All Star, but Fred…come on.
For this team to win, certain things have to meet like Vven diagram and this year surely isn't that. Realistically, If we are really smart, we should Tank and just use the adversity this year as Fire for next year.

If Bum Vleet would just stop forcing layups with 3 opposing players waiting then ending up getting blocked, taking bad shot selections, dribling the ball just for the sake of dribbling and not doing anything with it, being a pylon on defense, playing hero ball.. then Fred wouldn't get criticized so much.

Well FVV needs to stop making excuses, and shelf his role. We still have love for him, but we are looking at the bottom by him continuing to figure out. What are we waiting for?
