[Stein] Myles Turner, to this point, has rebuffed Indiana’s contract extension offers, league sources say. Ditto for Jordan Clarkson in Utah.

> Myles Turner, to this point, has rebuffed Indiana’s contract extension offers, league sources say. Ditto for Jordan Clarkson in Utah, where sources say the Jazz came into the season hopeful of securing a new long-term deal with Clarkson before he becomes a free agent this summer. There are teams out there naturally hoping that Turner or Clarkson (or both) will be in play for trades before the deadline. I don’t see the Jazz trading Clarkson; Turner’s situation continues to be harder to read.

Bonus Oubre Content:

> Cleveland, Phoenix and Toronto had been circulating as teams that had trade interest in the Hornets’ Kelly Oubre Jr. until Oubre was forced to undergo left hand surgery this week expected to sideline him for four-to-six weeks.

Pacers have been good and I don’t think he’s gonna find a better pg halibuton

  2. scorelesswilliamson

Good for Turner. Wouldn’t be surprised if he wants out there for anything short of a big overpay. Career year and has always been on the trade block. Now he gets to decide his destiny.

  3. Naive-Air2866

If turner refuses to extend then pacers literally have to trade him

  4. FERFreak731

20 points, 4 rebounds, and close to 5 assists. He’s improved at getting assists, and is a good shot creator. He will easily get a first, maybe 2 protected firsts

Collin should start, and Ochai recent game shows he’s a good defender, and good at making three’s, so he deserves more minutes

  5. ImeStopPlayingDennis

What head from a Gary lot lizard does

  6. KYRIE542

I highly doubt the pacers trade him becuz of their playoff contention

  7. DonGarlandMobleyJA

this is after Jazz fans were calling Mitchell is a traitor while JC is loyal to Utah and is one of the good ones cause he doesn’t mind the racism

  8. MSKOnlyScans

Poor Stein. Feels like he only reports rumors these days and just minor news/details. He used to be such a big news breaker.

What teams are in on Myles Turner besides the most obvious one?

  10. They supposedly offered him a bonus of $500 for every half court shot he hit during the season.

  11. KingNephew

This guy had an interview with Woj listing why the Lakers should trade for him and they’ve tried to trade him for years. Time to pack it up.

  12. 0dias_Chrysalis

We could REALLY use either rn. Like, really bad

  13. coreyp0123

I feel like Myles is just trying to see what he can get in FA. I think he will be back on the Pacers next year.

  14. TheWolfInAllStreets

Guess he didn’t learn from his own ex teammate oladipo

  15. LeCockJamesDaddy

Wouldn’t mind getting okoro for Oubre, unless the suns or raptors would give us a first but that seems unlikely

  16. pskill43

After being in the trade rumours for literally every season he does not want to extend with the team. Call me shocked

  17. Kyrie_Simmons

I don’t remember him buffing them in the first place

  18. FrontWarning12

Turner would look real good in a Raptors jersey 👀👀👀

  19. BayonettaBasher

Turner for Dwight Powell and 2027 first round pick

Pacers might do it without the pick. Rick Carlisle LOVES Dwight Powell.

  20. Matus198

I think that Clarkson would really fit the Bucks team. He brings the 3s, high rate shooting and that is honestly something Bucks really need with Middleton with no clear timetable to return.

  21. SometimesIComplain

I’d miss JC but I don’t blame him for wanting to see what kinda offers are out there. He might be trying to win a chip too and we won’t be contenders for quite a while

  22. need2peeat218am

I would trade Turner because he is a piece that many teams needs to win and Pacers probably won’t win any time soon.

  23. I wouldn’t mind trading Turner depending on what we could get back, he is having a career offensive season (16.7/7.9/2.2 on 54/38/78) but I would not be surprised if he is using this as leverage to get a better deal in the off-season from us.

  24. noobnoobthedestroyer

Unless it’s an insulting offer, Myles would be foolish to leave Hali’s side. A true PG like that makes his life so much easier.

  25. asvpmvson

i don’t want either but if Monte can get in on that action and steal a wing and a backup center

  26. UtahUtopia

    Damn it!

I bought Clarkson’s jersey last year.

    Dude crushes it.

  27. 1850ChoochGator

What is Turner’s max extension? Feel like that’s a bad move on his part..

  28. trevortins

Hopefully they can get some value for him, and start slipping in the standing. I know they are good and should at least make the play in but they would be better off being a lottery team at least for one more year.

  29. whiskeynrye

There has to be some teams out there not named the Lakers that have interest in him, hes having a great year. I guess maybe teams are worried about him not sticking around or something.

  30. AntiChangeling

I guess they’re all betting that this cap spike will be very kind to them in free agency.

  31. Smellmyhand

If the Lakers are just sitting on picks while these dudes are on expiring contracts for non-contending teams, LeBron should fucking rock bottom Pelinka.

Fuck that, he should rock bottom him anyway bc it’s f that dude

  32. fuzzynavel34

Lakers fans in this thread can fuck off. We don’t want Westbrook and 2nd round picks.

  33. pericles123

Clarkson is not a good player, he’s the D’Lo of shooting guards

  34. SidarCombo

I don’t blame ’em. There are much better places for a wealthy young man to live than Indiana or Utah.
