[Paynting] The Rudy Gobert experience can only be fully maximized on offense when you play him with shooters. Look at the roll-man gravity he attracts here – if you have proficient corner shooters then just Gobert’s presence can create buckets.

   Okay I have heard people talk about Rudy + elite corner shooters but I did not realize that Rudy has *this* kind of gravity. TF 3 guys flocked to him in the paint….

   **Is this summary too simplified?** – Rudy creates space in the opposite way KAT does. KAT draws a double and often pulls bigs *out of the* paint which creates space for guys like Ant to drive. Rudy draws guys *into the* paint with his gravity which creates space for shooters.

   Is the recipe just to have KAT be a shooter and have corner shooters like TP, Jaden or Slomo play with Rudy and when Rudy is out, KAT uses his other offensive talents. He can post up or create space for Ant to drive? We maximize the offensive benefits of both of KAT and Rudy.

   Then add in Rudy’s screens to get guys open and a pnr arsenal, which wasn’t KAT’s strongsuit. Sprinkle in the fact that we have personnel now to run both drop coverage (given our guards can become serviceable soon…) and high wall. Only running high wall and scramble like last year is not sustainable and will be exploited like Luka did.

   Is the recipe really that simple?? It sounds like getting Rudy *does* have big benefits if that’s the vision…? I’m still learning my X’s and O’s so would love to hear thoughts especially if I’m missing more nuance

   Someone put a chart of all of our 3 pt % with Rudy ON and OFF the floor the other day and for whatever reason every single player is shooting 3’s MUCH better with him off the floor.

   So I wonder what it means.
