Giannis speaking on recent team woes as the Bucks are barely above .500 there last 30 games (16-14).
Personally I do think it’s time to take it seriously and make moves during the trade. And a step further these last 2 matches feels like a wake up call to fire somebody for letting a contender have a 9-0 start to a season slip so horribly into mediocrity.
But I am rather ignorant, and if Giannis is this confident despite the horrendous play we’ve seen, maybe things are happening to give him confidence.

But yeah, I don’t think the bucks should be too worried. Injuries, and probably saving for the playoffs just like last season. I’m sure bucks will pick it up shortly, like last season.

Dude has a point, once everyone’s back, healthy, and gelling, the Bucks will be rolling
But, as sports fans are all too aware of, getting fully healthy is pretty much the holy grail, injuries are gonna happen, often at the most inopportune times, and the Bucks are a relatively older squad
Also, the part about how they’re 2 seed and that’s scary is kinda off, a couple more 0.500 weeks out of the Bucks and they could be firmly in that 5th seed, and yea that’s truly scary in terms of your possible playoff path
Teams have high and low stretches all the time, even contenders.
The Bucks and Warriors had 5 game losing streaks mid season before they ended up winning. The Warriors were barely over a .500 team after their 18-2 start

I’m a Bucks homer but I’m not in panic mode at all and think this is so overblown.
Given our injuries we are off to about as good of a start as we could have hoped. Could be in a much worse position and really feel the pressure in the 2nd half but luckily that’s not the case.

Middleton has played 7/39 games and Jrue has played 28/39. It’s pretty reasonable to have a stretch of mediocrity when it’s mostly been Giannis and role players for the last couple weeks. Jrue was available for the x-mas losing streak but it was against Boston, Brooklyn, and Cleveland, who are probably 3 of the top 5 teams in the league. I’m confident we win couple of those with a healthy Khris.
There’s clear flaws on this roster that it makes sense to try to address if the right trade is available, but there’s no reason to doubt that this team is a tier-1 contender when healthy.
Name 3 teams you would want your team to avoid in the playoffs more than Giannis and the Bucks and we can talk about panic mode.

The Bucks – Giannis specifically, but just the overall team since he’s on it – is in a touch space mentally.
They know they are going to make the playoffs. They know they will be the favorite in the playoffs. They know beating or losing to the Hornets by 50 in early January doesn’t matter either way.

it’s not a surprise that a team that hasn’t had their full roster available for 10+ games isn’t yet in their final form
the fact that despite this, the Bucks are still in 3rd in the east is pretty impressive
