Something people often forget. Especially with some rabid fans, are that these athletes are human underneath as well. I’m sure one way or another every player on the roster will go through it some way shape or form throughout the long season. It’s not our jobs to know it. But we will criticize them, nonetheless.

‘Grapes must be crushed to make wine’ is a bit weird for a motivational quote… are we the grapes in that analogy? So we must be squished for someone else to enjoy our juices?
Same with the olives… it’s like using “you can’t make omelette without breaking eggs” as a motivational quote!
…but yeah, I wouldn’t read much into it, Dame’s just being human.

He’s going through being 9 and 17 in his last 26 games.
Maybe there’s something else going on on a personal level, but I think he’s just feeling professional pressure. Which is understandable, considering that yet another season is sliding into oblivion, and his own performance has not been up to his previous standards.

Why the speculation? The picture seems like it’s from work so maybe something Chauncey wrote, doesn’t seem like dame is just writing this down at his house. This was a new years post. Also I love dame but he does post some corny shit on the regular on his story.
