They really shouldn't trade Gary Trent. He's only what 23 years old? Good defense and pretty consistent offense except past month or 2 since joining raptors. No where near his prime. I would keep trent jr, og, pascal. Get rid of Fred and put Barnes as pg. Keep young and or boucher and rest can go. I really hope we can get a centre and a dedicated 3 point shooter. Even a old 3 point shooter just stay in the corner and shoot.
Personally I’d keep him cause he still has a lot of potential hes only 23 and honestly he’s looked like the most clutch player on the team several times
If Trent Jr can accept 100 million for 5 years I think we’re good. However Vanvleet needs to go ASAP. He has become so toxic it’s unbearable. Barnes is lucky he wasn’t on the late 90s and early 2000s raptors with Charles Oakley, Oaks would’ve smacked the shit out of him.

Hope not. Gary wants to be here, he is a shooter and if given the number of shots would do better than Fred. Put Gary and Scotty as the guards. Trade Fred for a rebounding centre. Fred will want a lot and will leave anyway.

No one talks about this, but GTJ has literally improved offensively and defensively from last year. On top of that, despite being called out by our coach, getting benched after playing poorly a few games coming off an injury, he still took it in good spirits, never complained and came back stronger. Neither let this whole thing affect the locker room. Also, he's only 24.
The main reason why we cant keep GTJ unfortunately is that we're fixated on keeping our 3 forwards that don't really complement each other. All great individual players, but they just don't fit.
So, let me get this straight, we're the worst 3 point shooting team in the league, and we're shopping around our best shooter. He's not only our best shooter, but he is young. His timeline is a good fit with our young core. I call BS on this "Undeniably" report.

Gary literally a straight up shooting guard and a much more traditional SG than FVV…he’s longer and taller, can get to the rim, better in the paint, has a better 3 ball, doesn’t need to be ball dominate to score, and he’s 5 yrs younger.
I think it will be the pivot point of this organization if they decide to trade OG, since most likely it will bring back picks and youth, which wouldnt fit the timelines of Pascal and FVV or winning anytime soon.
I’d trade FVV in a package for a big or bench shooters.

Letting GTJ go is a huge mistake. He's younger, more athletic than FVV, and long term probably a better shooter. His defense is frenetic and productive. Vision 6 9 should be Barns GTJ Anunoby Siakam Precious… This is a top 10 defense…
