  1. We get the lead, but we can’t HOLD the lead

Blame who you want, it is just unfortunate mixture of bad events.

  2. Shitty loss but I will say the nba is so much more enjoyable when the refs let them play. Really enjoyable game besides the outcome.

  3. pattypatsonyourback

Most “Knicks” game of the year?

  4. A career night of 40+ from a knick and a loss

    Name a more iconic duo.

    I’ll wait.

  5. Ronnie2kDropCode

Hartenstein should never touch the floor again

  6. teIevision

randle is the most frustrating player in the league

  7. ProvocativeHotTakes

Lead 95% of the game and blow a double digit second half lead, if you don’t like that, you don’t like Knicks basketball.

  8. Yankeeknickfan

The Knicks have the point differential, srs, and net ratings of a much better team than their record but they keep losing Bs games like this. Idk what’s wrong with this team but these losses will hurt if they’re wasting away with the scrubs in the play in.

  9. HardOakleyFoul

The Bucks were champions for a reason *shrug* a 16 point lead in a January regular season game is nothing to them.

  10. RicoGemini

Good game up until Evan and Mitch let Pat and Lopez get some wide open 3s. If they play with this intensity every game it would be good though

  11. Braunb8888

Notice the lack of iso by the bucks? Drive and dish drive and dish. That’s basketball. Nobody looks more lost in the 4th than Randle, it’s every game, the guy has no idea what to do.

  12. hopoffmebruh

In an alternate universe, IHart is never born and we coast to a win by 16

  13. TSSFranco

We, as a society, have passed the need for Hartenstein minutes

  14. omarade2

Hart needs the reddish treatment. Should not see the floor. Not even in blowouts. See if you can move him for a warm body or just leave him at the end of the bench.

  15. zOmgFishes

Our 4th quarter execution is ass. Our bench has been complete shit and thin as hell.

  16. PirateKata

Feel bad for brunson. Randle is skilled, hes worked hard, but he is in his head all the time. Its a meantlity thing for him. He is also frustrating to watch on defense when his man doesnt have the ball.

Brunson if you are reading this, we love you

  17. XOnYurSpot

Tough loss tonight, Sims absolutely deserves those minutes he was playing.

    Hartenstein to the pine? 🤔

  18. busyb112

Hate to say it but it was the iHart minutes in the 3rd

  19. Affectionate-Tea9224

Tough losses has been a signature of this franchise for basically forever

  20. watrwedoing

That point distribution is disgusting, nobody over 5 points besides IQ Randle and Brunson

Brunson and Quickley shot well but after that yeesh

  21. Our team is a superstar away from contention unfortunately. We can be there with hood teams but we can’t beat them yet. Tough loss and not moral victory’s here. Just have to get better

  22. ThatOtherJoey

It feels like we’ve watched the same game at least 10 times this season and we’re 0-10 in all of them.

  23. Supporting cast was total ass besides IQ. Randle shot poorly but at least he was rebounding and looking for open teammates. Wasted Brunson’s career night. Damnit. On the plus side, we fucking competed against the Bucks. We aren’t that far off and just gotta keep building.

  24. asapfetty

People gonna hate on Randle, but his defense on Giannis was one of the reasons we were in this game. Bucks really wanted this one, and you can tell because they played their starters the whole 3rd quarter

Close loss, but it would be nice if one of these losses swung our way for once

  25. Affectionate-Tea9224

Knicks have literally lost this same game against the bucks at msg for years now..

  26. OnymousCormorant

I know Mitch can’t shoot and that’s just a fact of life but it’s frustrating watching him next to Lopez, who’s built like a storage container, draining 3s against us

Like is it a fantasy to try to develop at least a bank shot for Mitch?

  27. teknomatic

I feel like the bucks all of a sudden became snipers late in the 3rd quarter and then Jrue became Steph Curry down the stretch. Shit just happens sometimes

  28. TapHaunting7779

i blame iHart. Screwed up our entire defense in the 3rd and just ran around. Blame also goes to Thibs for not subbing in Sims. Another horrible L. I will say Jrue turning into Steph was just bad luck.

  29. Lovejones722

The bench literally gave up this game. Brunson, julius, and IQ combined for 92 points and literally no one else scored.

  30. Accomplished_Power_3

For God sakes. Why can’t grimes and IQ get some plays made for them when we need 3s

  31. MyLadySansa

Brunson was fantastic. IQ was terrific. Just got beat by the better team, a championship caliber team that knows how to close out games. We’re not there yet, not sure it’s gonna happen this season. JB tried, tho. I love him for that.

  32. TapHaunting7779

Y’all are so quick to blame Randle. Granted he shot poorly but he still brought the energy on defense and was a monster on the boards.

  33. will122589

Bucks decided to not miss a shot in the final 15 minutes of the game. I swear they got 14 3 pointers in the last 15 minutes of the game.

Holliday just hit bullshit shot after bullshit shot at the end and Giannis is a bigger flopper then peak LeBron

  34. DuckDucks

Randle… Posting up on Giannis is not the play. It’s never the play.

  35. zOmgFishes

Fun fact. Outside of IQ and JB the team went 14-56. Randle going 9-29 increased the rest of the scrub’s overall FG% lmao.

  36. NoScopeMusical

    – Another winnable game lost from a mixture of bad events and bad play. The Bucks were begging to be blown out, but they hung around long enough to rip the win away. 17-point lead gone in a New York minute. YUCK
    – Randle was good (despite the awful shooting), IQ was stellar, but Jalen Brunson was excellent. 44 points & it won’t get the recognition it deserves cause the Knicks lost. Gotta capitalize more and hold on to the leads.
    – Jrue Holiday was awful for 3 & ½ quarters until he turned into Ray Allen and started hitting clutch three after clutch three late in the fourth. 🙃
    – Hartenstein was awful, Toppin barely played (probably still hurt), & Grimes had an off-night.

  37. rgthunder1

Knicks have choked away at least 5-7 super winnable games this year. That’s a 10-14 game swing in the standings…ooof!

  38. Green__Bananas

Maybe it’s coping but we’re going to reach a point where the team starts to learn from these close games where they can’t close and finally “get it”. It comes from experience

  39. Blackbolt113

59 shots from Brunson ans Randle. Randle 9 for 29 .No one else touches the ball as those two dribble down the clock. Why can’t we get the wide open corner three’s that every other team in the league gets? We outplayed them most of the game only to crap out at the end. It’s very frustrating to see Joe Ingles killing us from the corner.
