JBs bball IQ is so bad sometimes with his on ball decision making. Dude takes some horrible shots in some horrible situations. He’s just been money on bad shots all season for the most part

I don’t know, but . . . it *seems* like if White or Brogdon have a good game, we probably win. If they both have a good game, we definitely win. If they both have a bad game, we almost certainly lose.

Felt like the Celtics got a little sloppy on offense at times, especially in the 4th, but without Smart directing the offense I guess that makes sense. The C’s could’ve made this one a lot easier on themselves if they’d have just made some 3’s though. This extended shooting slump for the team is very much getting to the point where you wonder if this is closer to the norm for them. As for some other thoughts…
-Tatum delivering to end this one. It’s a shame he didn’t get to 10+ assists tonight because he more than earned it with how he was passing the ball, the C’s just kept on clanking their 3’s though
-Horford/s 8/7/5 statline does not tell the story of how well I thought he played tonight. Just very timely offense and defense all game long
-Grant((20/8/1 with 2 blocks on 8/15 shooting) really out here trying to convince someone to give him the bag next summer. Hopefully it’ll be the Celtics giving it to him
-Genuinely thought tonight was gonna be the night where Rob finally cracked 25+ minutes, but I guess not. Close game with under 4 to go, Rob looked good and had only played 23 minutes after starting this one and it felt like the C’s needed a bit of an energy boost after the Bulls went on a run seemed like a good opportunity to see how Rob responded to more minutes
-So at what point do we start worrying about Brown’s 3 point shooting, because he’s now at 32.5% on the season after tonight’s 0/8 from 3 showing
Holy shit the Bulls are so obnoxious to play against. They always find a way to make top teams’ lives hard despite being pretty mid themselves. It’s not just the Celtics, I believe they beat the Sixers and they also ended the Nets’ 12 game win streak. But anyway…
Nice, if shaky win. It really didn’t need to be that anxiety inducing but it’s in the past now and in the end, we walk away with a nice, shiny W. Not this time Bulls! Next two games will be interesting, two good teams without their respective best players. But both teams are still no joke without them, Brooklyn especially. Also a B2B. Will be tough but I think they can beat both
And this is why keeping Tatum in the Mavs game when the lead was 15 with 5 to go wasn’t stat padding. This team has the potential to go ice cold and not score for 5 minutes.

Grant showing this kinda play in spurts makes me feel soooo much better about Al’s coming retirement. If Grant can be 60 to 75 percent of what he was tonight consistently in a few years we’ll be as set as is ever gonna be possible for Al hanging em up
