Umm as a clippers fan but realistic, I said the clippers are injury proned and old.
This team was WAY too overhyped from the start. There never should've been such bombastic takes about this teams ceiling until people actually saw them all play together. Have we learned nothing from the dumpster fire that is the Lakers? Just throwing a bunch of stars and superstars together doesn't always yield success.

I think the Clippers biggest issue is the lack of a strong leadership figure on the court.
Ty Lue lost at least 4 of these games based off his rotations alone. He keeps playing 3 and even 4 guard line ups when most of the Clippers guards are bad defenders and/or streaky shooters. There’s no situation where 3 of Kennard, Wall, Reggie, or Norm should be on the court together. I get there’s injuries but then you have Robert Covington and Amir Coffey getting DNP-CD on top of that. It’s just very bad decision making on Lue’s part.
Clippers were at there best last season playing multiple wings together and being able to switch on defense. This year Lue has completely abandoned that concept. And when he did finally go to a wing heavy line up in the 2nd half, the Clippers not only got back into the game, they took the lead. Then for some reason Lue subbed out Mann for Powell in the 4th and the Hawks went on a 11-0 run and closed out the game. You could convince me Lue is throwing games and trying to get fired with how questionable his rotations have been. It’s literally that bad.
The team SOFT. Their strategy is to wait til the playoffs to play Kawhi and Paul full time. Kawhi is vaginal and Playoff P won’t show up in the playoffs. This team will NEVER win a championship.
