We had our chances, but shots were not just falling today from other players early in the 4th. As I said in the previous episode, we need a Tyson Chandler who will anchor the defense and grab those rebounds, like Jordan who had Rodman.

My frustration is that the organization signs 30 year old players instead of taking flyers on youth. Go get a Quickly or an Okoro who are not wanted in their sitaution and have talent. Quickly can playmate is quick, but smaller and not a great defender. Okoro is tall and a great defender, but his offense is non-existent. But both have talent and youth on their side, something this team only has in 3 players on the roster: Luka, Josh, and Jaden. So please no more adding 30 year old or injury-prone players.

These two yet again laughing it off. These Dallas fans are something else man… Luka needs to leave this bum ass franchise ASAP. It's al about "break even" for Mr. Shark Tank. Everything else is an unnecessary money spending for this tight ass yuppie. As long as he has Luka in Dallas he is making bank even if they are dead last. When Luka leaves he'll put the Mavs under a spell that will rival the Gambino curse and they more than deserve it. Absolute cancer of an organization.

Look, the Mavs play the good teams hard and they usually have a chance at the end. They are not even dominating the bad teams like most good teams. Every game is close. The winning streak was a lot of false hope. They are good enough to tease you to think they are good but they don’t have enough high end talent.
And no ring cover, no inside defense.
Can’t get stops. Shot distribution is a little strange, and guys aren’t knocking down shots – the ball needs to swing more. Luka is the only guy getting into the paint to then dish out. They need dinwiddie to get into the paint, THJ did a little bit in this game. And did I mention they can’t get stops? 🙄

Luka usage rate high lets see like this: Luka 43 pts 12/22 shots – all other Mavs 58pts 18/46 … well if Luka took 35 instead of 22 Mavs would won this one!!!! This is how good Mavs team without Luka is and this is who REAL MVP is! If all other would be as efficiant as Luka was they would need to score 90 pts insted of 58 pts on 46 shots!
Mavs need to make a trade, GM should be fired if no trades before trade deadline.

Not only the front office can't sign anyone noteworthy, they can't even retain good players that have already been there. Losing Brunson for nothing is a criminal negligence that should have resulted in firing everyone who participated in not giving him contract extension. There was an all star level player and he left for fucking nothing because the front office wanted to dangle him as a trade piece at first and then didn't want to go over 22 mil per year. What a joke.

We need Lavert not only is he an expiring contract but he can handle the ball a bit atleast better than Tim. That would put Lavert in the Spencer's role that he had last year as the 3rd ball handler.
That look he gave the coaches during his run in the 4th quarter says it all.

The Mavs will always lose if Luka's teammates can't hit their open shots at ALL. Ever.
Javelle may not play that well against quicker players (as many bigs do)… but he has some veteran skills in his game that the Mavs need. But noooo…Kidd never gave him enough time to develop his game with this new team.
It takes time to gel…especially when we change from small to big front-court. I'm frankly a little disappointed in Kidd with not developing this front-court lineup. He didn't truly seem on board with it from the beginning. We lost to GSW mainly because of giving up second and third chance shots and NOT getting second and third chance shots. We shore up front-court and then just revert to small. Makes zero sense to me.
All the players should go back to basic by learn how to box out.
I like Dallas fans and all, but Luka needs to switch teams or he will end up with 0 chips. I would say bench Luka and go for lottery pick, but it's not realistic.

Luka didn't play his best game but the other players need to hit their open shots, which is the primary reason that we lost this game. The team should also improve in defense and getting rebounds.
