Silas gets an F-
We can't name any player on this roster that we can say Silas is maximizing. In fact, he's minimizing everyone. Why does he insist on having everyone play to their weaknesses? The whole roster is playing below par to a man. What can we really say he's done well? Who can we say he's done a good job developing?
Stone C+, Silas F-, KPJ C, Green C+, Gordon C, Jabari C-, Alpy B-, Tate B+ (When healthy), Bruno C+, Tari C+, KJM B+, Matthews C, Garuba C+, Nix C-, TyTy C+, Christopher C+
Tyty balled out!
Sengun is a B+ at least for sure, especially given the way our coaches been misusing him. He improved his EFG% from 50% to 56%, FT% from 71% to 79.4%, and his significant improvements on pts and rebounds. He’s only average 3.4 fouls per game, not that much a foul-out we made out to be. I GUARANTEE you, in 3 years Sengun will 100% be a triple double machine franchise player. I can see you guys and a lot of Rockets fan don’t view that highly of Sengun, but what you all need to know that this type of triple double centre talents are rare to find in NBA. So if you have one, you hold him tight by prioritising his development. I’m sick and tired of hearing people talking about Sengun is not a cornerstone material but rather just a trade piece. You all gonna be sorry and feeling jealous as hell in 3 years when you watching Sengun becoming a triple double machine in another team, and all we got back from him are couple of heavily protected 1st rounders. Rim-running bigs are easy and cheap to find in NBA, but how often do you come across, Joker, Sabonis type of centres? There is a reason why Joker has been in MVP contention for these many years. And his height is not the main reason
“Drafting Jalen was a no brainer at 2” bruh Mobley was the 2nd best prospect and we passed on him and now look at us
I hear all these complaints about everything Rockets and I'm as much a Rocket fan as the next person and have been one since before they drafted Ralph Sampson. Not that that means anything, but I flip it during times like this. I want them to lose every game so when they win I take it as a loss. Obviously, they weren't going to win the championship with this team from day one. So, tanking is the only strategy that makes any sense, especially with Victor Wembanyama out there. Also, the coach is doing fine with what he has. He can't make Jalen Green or KPJ shoot more efficiently, I mean if he could he would have every player make every shot. To me, he tries too hard to win.
Great listen and I agree going into next season will reveal whether they know what they're doing or not and I think it starts with this year's trade deadline
