The 2nd round picks are not as valuable as lane makes it sound like because the Lakers have shown they are willing to buy them as evidenced by the Max Christie pick. They can buy a 2nd round pick each year and the scouting department has shown they can hit on those picks meaning they don’t need as many shots as other teams when drafting.
Now team says they want 2 second round picks and Lakers come with even more excuses 🤦🏾♂️ I’ll be so glad when LBJ leaves this 💩hole.. it’s been a terrible ride but at least I still can enjoy watching the GOAT play…

This is beyond a joke at this point! Front office continue to make it more difficult to make potential trade happen. Future stars will be watching and will be a lot less inclined to go to Lakers when they are so focused on fiscal responsibility, not doing what it takes. Any trade for Cam Reddish is foolish….I will tell you why…Reddish is a free-agent next season meaning he can walk away after 2 months rent and Lakers losing x2 2nd round pick….Knicks knows this that's why they are leaking they ONLY want 2nd rounders lol…
This season has been a great window(s) on what the current Lakers are made of and what needs have to be filled going forward this and next season. Last season was obscured by 81% of the roster needing to be replaced. This season we got to see AD’s impact without LBJ, and the team can still win at a good clip, but the team needs someone to make up for AD’s equivalent contributions when AD gets injured. We got to see LBJ’s impact without AD, and the Lakers will win at a good rate if TB and a few play with energetic game, but they still need a F/PF to solidify the team. The peak form is having both AD and LBJ, which result in fewer losses than either alone. Now, the core without AD and LBJ, show what the team needs: a floor leader who scores and helps TB get a few more baskets than the 17 pts against Denver. This team isn’t too bad if it hadn’t been for the poor start to the season that they’re still trying to dig out from. This team has shown some caliber against the Eastern Conference top teams more than they’ve against Western Conference top teams. Predictions: Nunn should be the next break out player with Reeves/Walker on the DL. Nunn should focus more on mid range game. If everyone is back with enough reps by playoff time, the Lakers should get through three rounds which includes the playin if that’s their seeding.

I honestly feel like we waited too long to make any moves. We needed someone earlier in the season to take a load off of AD & Bron before their injuries started happening.
Reddish is a better move than nothing especially pelinka and jeanie not willing to part ways with those two picks

I remember Windhorst saying before the season started there would be a record number of trades this season. Fast forward to today (Jan. 11th) there has been 1 trade in the entire NBA 😂. Less than 1 month left and we will see, but I’ll say for sure… I’ll wait for those record number of trades to start moving 😭
In a year or two Max Christie will probably be better than Cam Reddish.
