I have faith in this team, without KD we will gain more chemistry and we will get better as a team and with the KD return even better.

Get a big guy and we are scary.

    **BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKLYN**

  2. laflameitslit

disappointed in ben. need him to step tf up

  3. First 3 quarters were great, last quarter not so much. Entertaining game to watch, nonetheless.

**Look at the rebounding differential** – that’s where we lost the game. It might not have seemed that way, but we shot better from 3 than they did.

Kyrie did not shoot the ball particularly well, but neither did Tatum.

Sixers lost to the thunder and Bucks lost to the heat, so we still have a small buffer between those teams.

  4. weasleyisron

Oh well at least the Bucks and Sixers also lost so could be worse. Reset for another tough one against the Thunder on Monday

  5. Ben scores 12 points and we win this game. Good night

  6. No-Ad5001

Damn 9 losses in a row? Need to change that once KD comes back. Beating them 4-1 in the playoffs feels pretty recent to me.

  7. BushidoBrowne

And thus, the Ben Simmons experience begins….

You know what? Fuck it. Get Kuzma, because he can at least create his own shot.

We know for a fact that Ben isn’t doing it.

  8. I would genuinely like to know how Boston always seems to have people wide open in the corner.

  9. AdmiralSbs

We need our closer, great first 3 quarters

  10. SabresMakeMeDrink

Even without KD, there are 15 points missing that could have been made by someone…I wonder who he could be…

  11. Jeshwaye

If Simmons thinks it’s okay to not be aggressive at the scoring end, then we losing a lot of games this month without KD

  12. SwishBreak

Anybody blaming Simmons for this loss is a casual, he was our best player tonight. This isn’t to excuse his lack of scoring because he does need to be putting points on the board. The 12-2 run with Ben on the bench in the fourth killed us. The fact that JV benched him for majority of the fourth is just inexcusable and garbage coaching.

Kyrie was horrible tonight, way too much iso ball and Boston must live in this man’s head or something because he was bricking all night just like every time we play them. Boston know how to shut down small guards and it makes guys like him and Seth non factors, especially when they are on the court together. It’s mind boggling that our coaches still haven’t figured this out.

In the Playoffs they are just going to lock down KD and let Kyrie shoot bricks again, we need that third scorer that’s a wing. Do your job Sean

  13. Status-Development-3

miss KD simmons sucks trade him asap dude is broken

  14. Letsgodubs

Ben really needs to be more aggressive. It was embarrassing to see him continually make the same hand-off play at the top of the key and not even look at the basket. He’s much better than this.

The shooting lineup is useless if there’s no inside scoring threat to actually draw the defense away from the perimeter. That’s what KD did. Teams had to rush to double him leaving a shooter open.

  15. Padulsky21

I’m encouraged by what I saw. That is all

  16. Kenny_Heisman

we win this game with KD. I’m not worried

  17. bautistar1

Can someone explain how that smart foul wasnt a take foul? He literally stopped a fast break.

  18. Ben simmons 0 points… when do we start accepting that this is a problem ?

  19. Durantula3577

Ben Simmons cannot refuse to score on Luke Kornet. Do people see his knees? LUKE HAS NO LATERAL QUICKNESS

Ben needs to run the offense. He played well with the assists but it was lacking since it’s open baskets and less so creation from him driving

Kyrie chucked in the 4th when he should have passed

    play yuta more

  20. BelonyInMyLeftPocket

Boston constantly proves how small your margin needs to be against them. We can get there.

  21. IngeniousDummy

Rebound! Rebound! Rebound! Rebound! Rebound! Please fucking REBOUND!!

  22. Individual_Attempt50

yeah we’re gonna be in for a tough run after kd’s injury

  23. Ciwan1905

Can we please sign a shooter who can create their own shots and make them consistently besides Kyrie and KD? As good of a playmaker Simmons is, we need more consistent scorers

  24. Simmons was the only player on the team with a positive +/- (+10) and JV decides to leave him on the bench the last 6 minutes of the game with his 5 fouls. Someone make it make sense to me

  25. VisibleAdvance6036

it could have been worse. we were strong in the first half, got lazy in the second. a hard fought battle

  26. throwaway_5256

Well we were neck and neck til the 4th and ran out of gas. Sixers and Bucks lost so that helps at least

Only got 2 games left against the Celtics and at best can only tie the season series. More importantly we really need to figure out the crunch time offense. We’ve lost a gazillion games vs Boston because we can’t score in the 4th

Ben scoring zero is gonna be memed but really I’m more worried that he only played 26 min due to foul trouble. We gotta find a way for him to play 36+ minutes. I get that he’s getting called for soft fouls but he’s gotta be out there

Also this game wasn’t atrociously called but idk what the point of a take foul is if fouling a 3 on 1 isn’t a take. Also Tatum getting to rip through or starfish for fouls is a pain in the ass and challenging does nothing to solve the issue. Again somebody on this team needs to complain and KD/Ky need to sell calls. If they need to flop to the line to end a 4th quarter scoring drought then so be it

  27. ughwhateverman

Celtics Nets is Groundhog Day at this point.

Big picture: Joe Harris and TJ Warren played well. This is good for the team. Seth Curry was terrible defensively and unfortunately, we will see him and Kyrie together a lot. They really should trade him at the deadline for another, bigger piece. Claxton was once again a force, and Ben played alright. He has to look for his shot, it’s a miracle when he does

The Nets can probably survive against lesser opponents. Lastly, please play Sharpe, I beg. The team has to know what they have in him. He’s played well the last 3 times he’s been on the court. Give him a shot. Kyrie has to figure it out against the Celtics (aka attack the rim relentlessly and stop settling)

  28. BigCollarsAndBallers

Another 11 point loss to this damn team.

Simmons somehow a +10 in a 11 point loss. Wut.

  29. OtoroNigiri

Really frustrating game after a pretty clean game for 3 quartered. Sure – we couldn’t make a shot in the 4th., but really hate that we have to fight against the refs every night

  30. somedudethatissus

    Atleast it wasn’t a 30 point blow out win…

  31. CrazyPlayA1

Ignoring the 4th quarter we did a decent job. This team needs more size we’re just too small.

  32. EliManningham

This game is why I really want a Bojan type at the deadline. We need one more dude who can just get buckets, especially against this Celtics team.

I know we’ll have Kd, but Kyrie really struggles against this team, and it can’t become the Kd and Kyrie “do everything for us” 4th quarters. Won’t be sustainable.

  33. QoconutZ

“Disappointed in Ben” he was still 10x better than Kyrie today even with his 0 points lmao. But seriously Ben needs to stop being a pussy when he has the ball near the rim

  34. Throwaway-j-1997

I don’t think this is a bad as it could have been. Do think Kyrie playing hero ball the whole forth quarter is more of an issue than Ben’s scoring but both are still issues none the less

  35. Champloon

Glad to see joey buckets back. Refs fucked us per usual but the team should know this is how it is by now. Gotta score to make up the difference and we shit the bed in the 4th. On to the next one.

  36. artworx18

Team needs a quick-footed 2-guard, Royce is not it. Williams, Brogdon and Pritchard just drove many times with minimal resistance. Clax can’t bail you out everytime.

  37. FamiliarComb3166

Tough game man. Bad ref calls, players werent making their shots near the end, and some bad defensive plays leaving players in the corners open. Hopefully Ben sees this game and realizes he needs to drive to the rim more. Doesn’t have to always make the shot but at least come off as an offensive threat. Other than that he played great. Move on to the next! Least the 6ers and Bucks lost today too

  38. guccigirlswag

Great from Ben in every facet except scoring and fouling. I think if Ben was scoring more, he would foul less. His lack of scoring makes him overcompensate and be too aggressive on the defensive end.

  39. This team really stinks ass without KD. Play in team at best.

  40. ssj3pretzel

So much talk about Ben becoming more aggressive without KD. And he scores 0 points lmao

  41. depressedpr0phet

The bright side is that it seems the front office is aware of the moves they need to make before the deadline

  42. ICantThink-_-

This was on bad shooting by kyrie and too much iso in the 4th. People blaming Ben as if he didn’t lock up and play good.
Also curry was getting cooked on defence. Trade that man, he’s unplayable in the playoffs

  43. Novel_Temporary_1269

Ngl kyrie is kinda a ball hog, I get he’s the best player on the team and KD is out, but there were countless of were he took contested shots and iso instead of passing to a wide open yuta in the corner or keeping the ball moving.

  44. broooooklyn

Curry is such a poor defender, any switch on him is an easy bucket or dump off to a big because Clax had to over help.

Don’t have a huge issue with Simmons, obviously you’d want to see him score more but his transition passing was immaculate and his defense was what you’d expect out of him.

Nice to see a Harris bounce back game. We’ll be alright, if we can go .500 while KD is out I’ll be happy.
