Basketball gods knew it’s curtains if he shot 80%+ that’s why.

He’s been really good at clutch FTs so I assumed he had them in the bag but no he didn’t. I forgive him because of those 2 game saving 3s to force both OTs. Man has to be so tired playing damn near the entire 2nd half and both OTs.

Next year… 80% FT percentage incoming to average 40 ppg.

I’ve come to interpret it’s one of two things: either he’s too fatigued towards the end to follow through properly, or what’s most likely cause it happens all game – he hasn’t figured out how to differentiate his shooting forms.

It’s been a long standing meme that if his free throws are dropping, the three’s aren’t, and vice versa. Maybe, he gets one form down but then he forgets what he was doing before, and starts applying the one shot to the other and it gets ugly. You don’t shoot free throws with the same follow through and intensity that you would the three.

I think he’ll improve with time and a proper shooting coach. Even the GOAT Michael Jordan had to develop his three pointer.

I think he just hates freethrows because they’re so plain and boring..he’s all about trick shots and degree of difficulty

He’s really been good at clutch free throws this year, was really surprised when he missed both.

Luka has been more consistent this year although numbers doesn’t prove my take.

He had a couple of games with really rough FT shootin nights and feels like no matter what, Luka always misses the 1st free throw of the night and majority of his AND 1 but finds consistency on the FT’s in between.

The thhing is in Europe he was a reliable FT shooter. His shot form is exceptional, I think the only thing he needs is a good psychotherapist.
