an nba-record-setting crowd attendance of around 65,000! the only nba game to bring a bigger crowd was the 2010 all-star game in the dallas cowboys’ stadium, seating over 100,000 people. since the all star game is not a “regular season” game, tonight in san antonio is the official record. i have doubts that it’ll be broken anytime soon.

60k+ people in the building and you literally turn on any Euroleague game and get a better atmosphere. There is so much potential in the US to create a wonderful atmosphere in basketball/football(soccer) with the amount of people in this country and it’s somehow completely wasted. Sad.
