He was effective against most players, but when it pertains to our most controversial defender(Maxey). I thought he had his hand up and contested. Only play one could fault without knowing context is the blown rotation on the sequence where he got hit in the nuts/injury. Of course, effort doesn’t mean much when the shots go in but still.
In terms of getting owned, it was actually De’Anthony Melton who was getting blown by left and right(largely in the first half.) Also, Mattise Thybulle had him in the 4th quarter and didn’t do any better of a job staying in front either.

maxey constantly left his corner man open when someone would drive even with joel in the paint that would lead to a wide open 3…. what is this logic? someone driving with joel in the paint maxey leaves his man and his man hits a wide open 3 so maxey can help cover the paint or get the rebound???? its stupid.
