I usually keep whatever Willie Green anxieties I have to myself, but this was a steal-able road game that could have been big for the team right now at a time us in Europe can actually watch, and he absolutely shat the bed. Sat on timeouts and never challenged, went back to Jax and DG when the killed us in the first half, didn’t set more plays for Trey. Just infuriating.
Refs and bad luck with long rebounds on 3 pt misses did us in at the end, but we shouldn’t have been in a desperate situation in the first place.

Any other year in the 8 I’ve watched this team this would be a beat down. We gave them everything we had and I love that. Darius his two huge shots. It is what it is. Lots of growth from this team. I think Trey bodying Allen twice is gonna be huge for his understanding of just what he can do with his size and strength.I also still like featuring or playing through JV when at full strength. I’m happy to see Cleveland have a real squad post LBJ. Love ya miss ya BI and Z.

Even though they’re losing these games right now, they’re still fighting well against really good teams without their two stars, especially considering how other teams would be performing if they didn’t play their best two players. Without Zion and BI playing other guys are getting the chance to really step up so there’s no way this run is going to have anything but a positive effect when the two come back. They’re way better with Zion and BI but the fact that we still hope and know they can win games like these against top seeds like Cleveland shows that they’re a GOOD team. And the more games Devonte and Jaxson play the better they’ll get.

All other bullshit aside this game actually pissed me off. Refs COMPLETELY shut that shit down to start the 4th. Every ounce of momentum was gone the second defending their guys became fucking illegal. and you could just tell based on the plays and shit pels were trying to run after that disgusting piece of work. They weren’t having it, it was also 100% the reason CJ lost his shit after getting slammed into on that drive at the end. Mounting frustration.
VERY similar to suns game 3 after the b2b wins when refs annihilated the pace and momentum of the game and allowed the suns to play their fake, cop bullshit brand of foul-baiting basketball.

DG shows you exactly the kind of game he’s going to have within 3 minutes of being on the floor. If he’s not on, he needs to be pulled immediately. Get Dyson and/or Kira out there.
Also Willy is completely justified in his frustration with his playing time when Jax is getting minutes and looking completely lost out there.

The moment I saw that lineup to start the 4th,I know we are already losing. 2 small guards against Allen and Mobley, not one can create their shot aside from Alvarado and Graham being a blackhole in both side of the floor.
When we will Kira even play over Graham? He already show he can do better than him at both side and a better trade piece if we plan to get someone.
If Dyson didn’t flourish as a defender and BI and Herb isn’t injured at early november , I don’t even think he would get minutes over Graham either.
Willie and co. are just hoping for his 3-point shooting which is like once in a blue moon to happen.

I’m proud of how hard the team plays and fights. That being said I get soooo tired of watching CJ dribble and hunt a terrible shot in the closing minutes of a close game when TM3 is 8-10 ft away ,in his line of sight, and wide open for 3. I’m not saying CJ wasn’t a good move for us or we need to get rid of him. I’m just saying he make me want to break EVERYTHING in my house when he does that.
