Lonzo have never been himself since he been in the NBA. He was hurt with the Lakers and Pelicans. That’s why I didn’t like the signing because he’s always hurt. I don’t even know if Lonzo ever played a full season since he been in the NBA . I remember Grant Hill injury and once he set out for a year or two he came back better. He was just older. I hope he get better

It’s wild only 40% sub this honestly. Unfortunately, Zo’s cashed. We gotta figure out to recoup loot on him somehow. I do think with his style of play, he will have a decent career still as a facilitator and deep shooter. His play style is much more conservative than our guy D Rose.

I don't think we should count out Lonzo Ball just yet. Yes his knee surgeries are a huge concern but until he actually goes on the court and plays again we can't really know if this is really the end for Lonzo

This is sad. For him as a human more then anything.
We have to keep in mind that unlike Rose, Lonzo's game isn't fully reliant upon his athleticism. Lonzo's strength was always as a playmaker, passer, and shooter. And secondarily, a defender. His passing, playmaking, and shooting won't really be affected by a knee injury, as those mainly impact quickness, mobility, and explosiveness for the most part. None of which would really impede his shooting form (especially since he mainly does catch and shoot jumpers) or his passing ability, nor would it impact his basketball IQ or playmaking ability. His defense will be impacted unfortunately, but let's not act like Lonzo doesn't have plenty more ways to contribute than just defense.
For all these reasons and more, Lonzo's knee injury won't be quite as career-ending as Rose's was due to them having different playstyles.
Lonzo play more with his mind and basketball IQ, sure he need his athletesm but i don't think he need his 40 inch vertical , passing a lob , outlet pass and setting up the offense, he will still be very effective no matter what , there's a lot in his game that doesn't show in the statistics peace
This injury is still dragging on a little longer then expected especially after the doctors said they think they found the problem when they went in again I dont think its career ending but it is concerning
What if there was no actual second surgery and all this is a PR stunt to get him the adequate amount of time to fully heal and be 100% so the injury won’t reoccur
