They didn't give the full context to Kerr's comments here – he was saying that you get fans cheering for Steph on the road and people tuning up in his jerseys at the arenas of opposing teams and the last time Steve saw a crowd reaction on the road to a player like that it was when he was playing with MJ.

A thousand times yes he took over a generation of basketball from the most talented athlete to ever walk the planet in lebron and made the genetics based game of height size and athleticism about skill dedication and efficiency in under a season in 2016 all while being incredibly humble but still being the best player at his position and top 2 or 1b to magic Johnson depending on preference of play style….and he’s still in his prime at his year 33 age he might win 3 more titles making him the best guard ever and most efficient player with the most effective shot on the court…there is no case to refute this as all of these are facts with one being a potential upside to his greatness. Steph is the most impactful player to basketball since mj bar none as you’ve never had to check a guy 90 feet potentially all game before until he came along as he makes half court shots look like layups
