They are winnable games but that’s also 5 games in 8 days, 8 games in 14. Momentum will be a factor

  2. No more waiting for Lonzo. He may not be back this season (I won’t speculate beyond that). If the Bulls are going to make a move, now is the time, these are the players.

The Bulls are 1.5 games behind the Pacers, 2 games behind the Hawks, and 3.5 games behind the Knicks and Heat. There’s still time to overtake these teams.

But they have to stop losing winnable games.

The next few almost count for two because the Pacers and Hawks are right above us in the standings. If the Bulls win they can likely leapfrog up in the standings and if they lose it is unlikely they can catch up enough for it to matter.

  4. Agreed. Was looking at this the other night. Need to take advantage and play hard against these mid teams. This team is too talented to continue losing against teams like that. Sure is a lot of games. 5 in 8 days. That’s the only issue. If they’re gonna make these teams play back to backs they should always be at home. The league needs to revamp the way the do the schedule.

the only gimmes here are Charlotte and SA, hawks have been looking better, indy isn’t a pushover, orlando is a hard matchup for us, clippers vary on if their big 2 play, i’ll never doubt dame with portland and they are under the radar good

Yeah, make or break for the season right now

  7. SolidSilver9686

As much as I complain about this team, it’s nice to have important games to look forward to.

  8. Obi_Wan_Gebroni

Except this team has an enormous concentration problem and are more likely to lose a bunch of these games as opposed to beating team we’re clearly more talented then.

  9. Rshackleford22

Gotta go minimum 6-2. We could win them all but watch us go 4-4

  10. voodoolintman

Can pretty much guarantee someone from each of those teams will go off against us. The bulls are a beatable “good” team and these cellar dwellers play their ass off against us to snag what for them is a notable win. If the boys can’t impose their will over this stretch it definitely is time for change.

Which basically means they wont be…

But for real a 6-2 run here needs to be the minimum

This is a Jerry Reinsdorf owned team that hasn’t lucked into a championship window because of a Derrick Rose-level superstar.

There’s approximately a 0.01% chance Reinsdorf spends enough to make a difference.

They’ve said over and over they’ll only go over the tax if they’re in contention for a title. So they’ve ensured they’ll *never* been in contention for a title.

However, they *also* won’t enter another rebuild, because he’s not willing to lose that much money either.

Everything is winnable. Bulls have zero excuse to not lock in anymore. Almost everyone is healthy, just got a bunch of rest and team bonding plus Zach and Vooch are back to all star form.

  14. True test is gonna be vs the Magic and Spurs.

  15. DreadPirateNot

Derozan is back. They hopefully learned to play through Vuc before Zach. This team is an easy 3-5 seed in the East. We should dominate these 8 games.

  16. lordrubbish

The winnable games are usually the problem but the team is playing well right now and the feels and confidence is high. All I’m saying is enjoy it while it’s here!

  17. Dannyzavage

We need a W in Atl and The Pacers really bad if we want to control our destiny.

  18. mkennedy119

Love this team and I know we’ll make the playoffs. I’m just getting bad flashbacks of last years Sox season. ” The next X games, we’ll close the gap.” And then they go .500 in that stretch. It sucks when some teams see you on their schedule as part of their turning point too.

  19. They’ll go 4 and 4. Or 3 and 5 Or 5 and 3. No other results exist

  20. hankbaumbachjr

Based on the season so far, split the first 2 games, lose to Charlotte and Orlando, then rip off a 3 game win streak and lose to the Spurs.

  21. nastynoah312

We can make a run like the Celtics did last year

  22. I’ll be there on 2/2!

When I scheduled it I was hoping to see Ball vs Ball, but it seems Lonzo might be out for the season..ugh.

  23. macaroniguap

i believe the proper flair for this post is “meme”

  24. Lol I’m almost non ironically convinced that these games against low tier teams will actually be more difficult to win than if we were facing all elite teams
