Coach Nick has always tried to envision the perfect offense – blending the Xs and Os of the past with the incredible skill levels of the modern player – and he thinks he might have found it with the Sacramento Kings. Channeling former assistant coach Pete Carril, the legendary inventor of the Princeton Offense, Mike Brown has his guys running a ballet of movement and passing that has gotten them close to the top of the Western Conference.

  1. The nuggets have the best offense in league history right now so I’m not sure how this tracks at all

  2. why would someone thumbs down this video? I don't get it! Great job BBallBreakdown keep up the good work.

  3. Thinking Basketball had a breakdown a little while ago on Kevin Herder being a bargain brand Steph curry and now this it’s interesting to see multiple takes on why the kings offense is so good this season

  4. Sacramento lights the beam on EVERY win. They leave that shit on so the team can see it when they fly back home! Awesome video.

  5. I will root for the Nuggets 1st but after that go Kings!
As an additional positive once the Kings get in the playoffs it will leave the NY Jets with the longest playoff drought in the 4 major us sports.

Edit: "not once the Kings get in" but "this year when the Kings get in"

  6. That Halliburton/Sabonis Trade ist one of those rare win-win-trades. Sabonis is thriving in that offense as a Jokic-light type of player.

  7. De'Aaron Fox is a SUPERSTAR and becoming a box office player he's a human highlight reel and he's so explosive it's amazing.

  8. Kings are the new Warriors. Seeing how Curry and the gang are struggling mightily, i wonder how much of coach Brown really was to the success of GSW over Kerr.

  9. Man, that was an amazing video. It really shows the brilliance of the Kings coaching staff and all of the work they put in as well as the players executing said plays. Hopefully we can improve the defense and then really become a juggernaut.

  10. Your Power Forward better be a reliable 3-point shooter (Keegan Murray) to occupy his defender on the weakside. 👍
Center at the high post (Elbow) above-average passer's I.Q.
    Roster construction is everything.

  11. Kings fans, as a Bulls fan I'm just happy that your team is back in playoff contention. All those years of missing the playoffs will finally be rewarded. Same way I felt for Knicks fans

  12. ✝️ God loves you. He offers you forgiveness of your sins.

✝️ Repent and believe in the gospel

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
    Hebrews 9:27‭-‬28 NKJV

✝️ The gospel of Jesus Christ

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
    I Corinthians 15:3‭-‬4 nkjv..

  13. I'm about to turn 31 years old in 2 months, but I've been a proud Sacramento fan since I was a 7 year old kid in the 90s. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am for this franchise to be good after so long. I'm hoping we snap our 16 year playoff drought streak.

  14. I remember I used to to talk trash about Mike Brown and the Princeton Offense way back when my L.A.-native college roommates first got me interested in the NBA in the 2010s and I was a Laker fan at the time.

Now having reconnected with my NorCal roots, I'm so grateful for what he subsequently did with the Warriors and equally happy for him in Sacramento. Turns out he just needed the right team and right players!

  15. do you actually pay the licensing fee for these songs? crazy dedication to making yt vids if so. don't know how else you haven't been copyrighted yet.

could you make a video on the schemes of elite defenses as well. i'm curious how they'd react and adjust to all this offensive creativity.

  16. Nice video coach Nick, you also got a big thumb up for your musical taste on that one 🙂
really cool classic rock/prog track (Manfred Mann's Earth band)

  17. Wow this offense is absolutely beautiful. Keeps every defender on their toes and forces them to make split decisions constantly.

  18. None of this works without sabonis, man is an absolute monster. Our offensive becomes completely different when he’s off the court. Last game with Holmes they added plays for him purely because he can’t do what sabonis does and not worth even trying
