Alperen's FT percentage is 70%. In this case, he made 3 FT low from his AV. Just 3 Points. In fact only down of his game 4 TOs. Ok he made 7 assists but 4 TO is high. Let it be 2 max. One of them was a long pass from KJM hard to catch even for a RunningBack. Still acceptable. Lastly Alpy sit down by Silas 4 minutes starting of the 4th
Players may play bad games, can make mistakes. But the thing is that Green shows no effort and unfortunately has very low basketball Iq. I believe he has no place in NBA at the moment, maybe some rehabilitation or G-league… I don't care his draft place, the drafts have full of histories with busts.. I don't say that Green is bust, but at this moment he is not NBA Caliber player… His sudden scoring times/games does not change this. The thing is ı am so sad with Sengun. Because he has to play with a team of low iq players….
Alperen has everything to be a franchise guy. His English is starting to come around to where he can clearly communicate on and off
the court which he didn't have last year. He may not be THE franchise guy but he can be a franchise guy along with another franchise
player. I remember reading a scouting report from 2019 when he was lightly scouted and they said one of his biggest strengths is his leadership ability. Sengun is inevitable
Really looks like they are tanking, every game they seem to be the game at half and then fall apart in the 3rd and 4th. You can tell that they quit trying and lose all of their energy on the floor. I believe they are being told to tank, and they don't like it!
"highlight players/play" going to start using that term, it is exactly what is happening, productive players that can't jump out of the gym or shoot from half court are over looked, and players like Jalen are called the next Kobe or Jordan, only because they can look good while playing.

Sengun is that most overrated player in the NBA. The fact he is the best player on the roster proves this rebuild is a complete disaster. We overvalue it’s players worst than Knicks.

I'm not saying not to pick wemby at no1. But it might be a blessing in disguise to get no.2 or no.3.
Even though we should draft the best talent over best fit at this point of a rockets rebuild, guys this tall are always notoriously injured with potential injured ridden shortened careers, and we have some pretty good pieces at that position. There is no chance sengun can play the 4, even positionless, he's still gonna have to be out there on defence, because regardless of how good he is on offence, he is not great on defence, and we cannot have a 7'4 guy that far from the ring, it just wouldn't be utilising such a generational talent like that, and what would we do with jabari? Dude playing the 3? Good luck! Will kj stay? Doubt it after that. Plus we have a glut of SFs/tweeter PFs.
So we get scoot, I ain't complaining. I actually think he would be perfect considering what faces the inevitable choices that need to be made by the lucky team that gets no.1.

Finally! You changed the lead-in to include Adam Silver saying "the Rockets select Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith Jr". Alpy, clearly the most important new Rocket, gets his respect. Better late than never. I think even Steven Silas is finally starting to get it.

The Timberwolves will be the modern day pistons for JG they literally bully everyone on the court. New coach new starting line up will help 1.JG, 2. Tari, 3. KMJ, 4. Jabari, 5. Alpi this line up is big, fast and far more efficient. I think Jalen this year and really until he reaches his prime can play like Jamal Murray using Alpi with a continuous two man game. We all have to remember the Ant is a solid 235 maybe 240 he’s basically a linebacker with a ton of skill and athleticism, even though Jalen put on weight last off season he is still a boy. 4-5 years from now these games are going to go way different. Also if you’re a Rockets fan don’t get stuck with what’s happening today. The future is really bright.
I like Jalen, but he is not consistent and needs help.
He could easily play 35 minutes. He won't be 21 until after the season. The Rockets are going nowhere this year so let him work out his conditioning and game by being IN the game the remainder of the year.
Also there is no need to pick a coach from our coaching stable when there are phenomenal coaches available I.e Quin Snyder, Ime Udoka( yes, despite the scandals) the only coach I would consider is Abdel because he’s young and has already shown, like finch like nurse that he can be successful…
I still don't understand why there is still no improvement at all from last season for real SMH but oh well SMH🤦♂️
Here is my opinion, if we getting Vic I think rockets should go for the gold now.. get vick, get harden back, trade this young group for another star player like Beal… Vic and AP wont coexist anyway, so either you build around AP or you build around Vic..
A better coach won’t help with Stone as GM. He’s too involved in coaching decisions and leaves the coach out of personnel decisions.
