In soccer you shouldn’t miss penalty kicks, in football you don’t miss your extra point kick and in basketball you shout miss your free throws.
If in any of the above sports you miss those the natural result is a loss.
You shouldn’t miss any freebies, ever! Mavs need to fire the free throw coach, it is not working.

We might see slight improvement, but don’t expect them to shine, or improve drastically as it quite obviously isn’t their year. Maybe a good trade happens, maybe not; but free throws are quite an indication of this year’s level of play.

So, it’s weird that a potential league MVP ball handler can be such a poor shooter. Luka is a bad free throw shooter and a bad 3 point shooter. I get players like Shaq and Tim Duncan being bad free throw shooters….big men with long arms and big hands. It’s a little more difficult. But, the fact that Luka is a bad shooter, is mystifying.
