Ive loved basketball all my life and I guess im going through some shit but in my head this is probably one of the most selfless teaching moments for a coach and player not just for basketball but for life as well.

i mean…players miss layups and have offensive slumps especially down the stretch, and to be fair 0:40 that is almost certainly a steal 9 times out of 10 for sexton so the clippers got SUPER lucky on that play. Now his body language is understandably frustrating as a coach to see. But im not sure i wouldve benched sexton so quickly considering what he COULD bring you in a close game. but overall i understand the coach has to try to find a winning strategy. overall, probably just a bad set of circumstances for sexton but that man can HOOP.
Cameras make everything bigger than what they are. It’s called coaching nothing more nothing less. Every nba player has this happen to them, most of them get it every year.
The lack of effort is a sure way to get benched, we all know this.

This has to be wrong, Collin Sexton is literally the Jazz’ best on ball defender. Clarkson is a black hole, Conley is old and slow, and Sexton pressing 94 feet. No way this conversation was about “effort”💀💀

After this we almost never see Sexton go under a screen, he gets a lot offensive fouls too from not going under from moving screens. Yeah this teaching moment was funny as the cameraman just suddenly notices this interaction and pans out to and keeps recording for awhile why we can now do this kind of lip syncing.

collin deserves to start in my opinion. over conley 100%. or moving clarkson back to 6th man to what he is known for. it’s the only way he will be able to improve and learn from his mistake. when he started he was averaging, 25 ppg, 4 assists, 3 rebounds in 35+ min in CLE. he’s now only playing barely 24 min as a 6th man, shooting damn near 50% for FG, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds. remember he is just turned 24 so he is still developing.
I hope they get to understand again what hardy is trying to do, because that's what make them number 1 start of the season.
I don’t think this is what the coach was saying… and you couldn’t read Sexton’s lips at all. So guessing one side plus mannerisms, gestures, and body language of the other… maybe just don’t make a video?🤷🏽♂️ Not hating just a critique
