Instead of Trae turning into Steph he’s turning more into Steve nash. Think that’s still good!
Trae Young's best skill set is his ability to pass. That's always been the case. Is he a gited scorer also yes… But his vision and ability to pass is what sets him apart from other PGs in the League.
When he plays within his strengths it makes the whole team better because the League already knows that he can score. So most days Teams best defender is guarding Trae Young. It's just common sense and good basketball practice to attack the 2nd and 3rd best defender on a Team that you are facing.. And when they make adjustments then Trae can take over if need be.
That's been the philosophy as of late attack the mismatches. The crazy part is it's not a new concept. It's actually basketball 101.
Trae young doesn't know how to play off the ball… So… The just allow Murray to come off screens instead. Plus Trae is the better passer
